"Hank Zampa arrived in the U.S. from his home Malta at age 13 speaking no English. Says Carol, "We both attended the University of Hard Knocks." They graduated with honors. Hank received a degree in mechanical engineering, became a design engineer for Ford Motor Company and co-owner of a restaurant. Carol was an executive secretary and operated a sewing business. Initially they envisioned the business as a method to make some extra revenue so they could buy a 30' sailboat. They also saw it as a chance for both of them, and subsequently for their three sons. After they bought the boat, they purchased a new home. They sent their sons to private schools and today their dream of a family company is a reality. "We taught our sons that they can have everything in life if they will work for it and expect the best of themselves. They have all grown confidence and excellent self-esteem. We love what this busines stands for." The Zampas travel, and are greeted with a warm welcome by their group companions from Warsaw to Rio de Janeiro.
