Liu Te Pei & Jin Mei Amway

Liu Depei is the eldest son of Ji Longsheng & Chen Wanfen. He started to develop the Anli business in 1991, and qualified as a direct diamond distributor in 2000, qualified as an executive specialist diamond direct distributor in 2004, qualified as a double diamond direct distributor in 2008, and qualified as a triple diamond direct distributor in 2014.

 In 2007, they qualified as Jade direct distributors in the United States and qualified diamond direct distributors in the United States in 2011. 

They are also members of the Global Policy Advisory Committee with a 20-point bonus for qualified entrepreneurs in China (the Crown Ambassador is a direct distributor). 

In 2010, they qualified as a platinum direct distributor in Singapore.

Liu Te Pei is the eldest son of Barry Chi & Holly Chen. He started his business in 1991 in Hong Kong. He went Diamond in 2000, EDC in 2004, Double Diamond 2008 and Triple Diamond in 2014. 

As of 2007, he qualified Emerald and in 2011 they qualified Diamond in the United States. 

He has also qualified as an Founders Council Member (Global Policy Advisory Committee, equivalent of a Crown Ambassador) FAA20 in China. As of 2010, he qualified Platinum in Singapore.

Español

Liu Te Pei es el hijo mayor de Barry Chi y Holly Chen. Comenzó su negocio en 1991. Calificó Diamante en el 2000 y Diamante Ejecutivo en el 2004 y Doble Diamante en el 2008.

In March 1995, Zheng Weiliang (Andy) was exposed to Amway while studying Hotel Management in Australia.

 In Australia, he saw how the Amway business can alter ordinary people's lives, and that it is "worth" the effort.

 With the help of his mentors in Australia, he developed a strong belief in Amway's potential. 

He returned to China in 1995 after discovering Amway was entering the Chinese market and worked for Amway for six years. 

Amway not only gave Zheng Weiliang (Andy) and Luo Bin (Wendy) the perfect lifestyle, but also shaped them into better human beings with values. 

Wendy joined Amway 10 years ago. Her regular corporate career had seen many ups and downs. 

"My Amway experience and happy hubby have converted me into a sunny person," Wendy explains.

In 2000, one of Amway's founders, Rich Devos, visited China for the first time. He had recently received a heart transplant, yet he insisted on travelling across the ocean to cheer up the Chinese people.

 "As long as one of you does Amway, Amway's factory will be open for you!" he promised. That day, Zheng Weiliang, Luo Bin, and their team were re-inspired by the Amway spirit and set new goals.

 The founders of Amway's beliefs have inspired thousands of people throughout the world and opened doors for them. 

Andy & Wendy are just one of the millions of Amway couples whose lives have been changed forever by this company.

Andy is a voracious reader who always has books with him.

"As a Founders Council member, my aim is to grow the business while simultaneously training individuals," he explains.

He sees India as one of Amway's most promising markets.

In 1996, Li Lili lived a day-to-day ordinary working-class life in an MSG factory in Shenyang.

 Although she was not wealthy, her small life with her husband Lu Hui was considered safe and comfortable. 

However, the son who was about to go to elementary school broke the peaceful life of this small family. Li Lili hoped that her son would receive the best education from an early age. But where does the money come from?

 Li Lili decided to resign and go to the sea. In June of the following year, Li Lili had the first contact with Amway. 

After repeated discussion and verification of Amway's business model, she felt that the money was made reasonable, reasonable and legal, so she decided to pursue Amway.

Behind the success, Li Lili also tasted the difficulties and bitterness. 

When she started her business, she thought about giving up in the face of stagnant performance, but her strong personality finally made her persevere.

Foo Howe Kean intended to own a business when he graduated. With little money, expertise, or advice the odds were stacked against him. In 1978, he joined Amway for the business opportunity, but he never used it. When his upline Founders Triple Diamond De Silva, Gerald & Angela (Emerald at the time) were introduced to him, he changed. Gerald recognised potential in Foo. He also revealed Foo Amway's future plans. Foo was keen to establish the groundwork for a rising worldwide business across Asia Pacific.

Spanish history

The Amway business of Foo Howe Kean began in 1978. 

Diamante Ejecutivo in 1983 el primero en el world, Doble Diamante en 1992, Triple Diamante en 1995, Corona y Embajador Corona al mismo mes de 2000. Embajador Corona Fundador since 2006.

On August 1, 1982, Amway Taiwan began its second business.

 Diamante Ejecutivo (1985), Doble Diamante (1986), Triple Diamante (1993), Corona (1999) y Embajador Corona (2001).

When Amway China opened in 1995, so did I. Currently, Corona Fundador 60FAA in China (2012).

A Global Amway Business

When Foo Howe Kean graduated from college, he wanted to own a business.

 He soon realised that without funds, experience, or guidance, the odds were against him. In 1978, he joined Amway, which offered an interesting business opportunity, but he didn't take it. 

This changed when his ascendent Triple Diamond Gerald De Silva (Esmeralda at the time) was introduced to him. 

Gerald saw Foo's business potential and vision. Amway also showed Foo its future vision. 

Foo decided to build a solid foundation for an international business that would span the entire Asia Pacific region.

The Triple Diamonds Gerald and Angela De Silva's leadership exemplified the highest level of integrity and strict adherence to the code of ethics and behaviour, laying the foundation for Amway's future leaders. 

In fact, a North American Direct Distributor, Sharon Wagner, was inspired by Foo and his business leaders to have more professional meetings.

Foo Howe Kean became a Diamante in 1980 and a Diamante Ejecutivo in 1983, just 3 years after meeting the Triple Diamantes Gerald and Angela De Silva.

When Amway Taiwan opened in 1982, it started its Foo business. 

And after two years, he became a Diamond in Taiwan. Also opened in 1995 in China. Since then, he has built a global business. 

He is a Corona Embajador in Malaysia, a Doble Diamante in Thailand, and an Esmeralda in the Philippines. ....

The Amway family is comprised of Lei, Mark, and Peggy Amway, all of whom are businesspeople and philanthropists who have made important contributions to the field of direct selling as well as to the world in general.

Mark Lei is not only one of the co-founders of Nu Skin Enterprises but also serves as the firm's Chief Executive Officer. Nu Skin Enterprises is a major direct selling company that focuses on the sale of personal care and wellness products. Born in Taiwan in 1958, he moved to the United States with his family when he was a youngster. He has lived in the United States ever since. Lei received his degree in electrical engineering from Brigham Young University, where he also received his education.

Following his graduation from college, Lei began his career in the engineering field working for Hughes Aircraft Company. However, he quickly came to the conclusion that his true calling was in business, and in 1984, he co-founded Nu Skin with his brother-in-law Steve Lund and his friend Sandie Tillotson. Nu Skin is a network marketing company that sells skin care products.

Nu Skin has become a multinational corporation with operations in more than 50 countries thanks to the direction and leadership of Lei. The forward-thinking nature of the company's products and the emphasis it places on self-improvement have helped propel it to the forefront of the direct selling business.

The success of Nu Skin can also be attributed in large part to Mark's wife, Peggy Lei, who has played a pivotal role in the company. Peggy has a degree in business administration and has assisted her husband in establishing the business from its infancy all the way through its current success. She has been a driving force behind the various humanitarian activities that Nu Skin has undertaken, in addition to playing an important part in the company's marketing and branding efforts.

Mark and Peggy's collaborative effort resulted in the establishment of the Nu Skin Force for Good Foundation, a charitable organization that provides financial support to humanitarian initiatives located all over the world. As a result of the foundation's funding of projects in fields such as health, education, and economic development, the quality of life for millions of individuals has been significantly enhanced.

Mark and Peggy are both quite involved in their community outside of the work that they do for Nu Skin and the Force for Good Foundation. They established the Lei Family Charitable Foundation at Brigham Young University using one of the many millions of dollars that they gave to fund educational projects.

   In 1996, Han Shirong traveled to Los Angeles, USA, and attended a local Amway salesperson gathering after a friend introduced him. 

To her a little surprise, the overall quality of this group is very high, which also made her aware of the huge business opportunities in Amway products.

   After returning to Qingdao, Han Shirong hurriedly drove. In the daytime, she can't get away with heavy work, so she makes full use of the night time. 

Family, friends and clients joined her for the sake of her face, but quickly gave up.

 Leigh & Cathy McCulloch joined Amway sometime around 1993 (they had earned platinum in September 1993). (they had reached platinum in September 1993). In 2004 they reached the status of Diamond. They live in Victoria and are members of the McKenna LOS.

SUCCESS STORY

For 25 years Leigh was deeply established in the corporate business sector. Leigh stated, “I was pretty much at desperation point, we couldn’t work much harder than we were, we had seven full or part time jobs between us, just trying to survive”. The business opportunity came around, from a guy at Leigh’s work, then Leigh looked at it from every perspective and felt, compared to a whole variety of other choices he was looking at that, ”this was the best possibility with the lowest risk he had seen”. Leigh understood that one day he may be on the ‘wrong side’ of a business merger and had been actively seeking for a means for he a Cathy to centralise their labour, earn the same money, but not continually putting in such a large effort. From his corporate accounting expertise, Leigh even ran a Dunn & Bradstreet check on Amway and found they had the highest rating of any firm in the world!

As you could imagine, for Cathy, time was originally a significant concern. As she adds, “I wasn’t very keen on getting engaged because I was already busy with our four children and all the committees I was associated with, plus work. Leigh has always been an excellent time manager but I was absolutely not”.

The accomplishment they have attained is clearly worth the effort. As Leigh adds, “I look at it like this - most people are bound by time and money as to what they can do and when they can do it. That is not an issue for us anymore. We now have options, which, in my opinion, is exactly how life should be.” The pleasure of winning as a member of a team has always appealed to Leigh, and being involved in this business provided him with the same feeling of accomplishment. According to Leigh, "It's fantastic to be a part of other people's achievements right now."

In his remarks, Leigh points out that the training and development system has been a crucial component of their success. AN INSPIRING SUCCESS STORY

After spent the most of my adolescent years participating in sports and travelling, I was seeking for a means to carry on with this lifestyle into adulthood. Following his graduation from high school and employment on the family farm as well as employment with a wool broking firm, Peter had an epiphany about something. The disparity between how I wanted to live and what was actually achievable became apparent as a result of the time and financial limits imposed by the demands of a day job.

Peter says, "This frustrated me because I knew there had to be an option, but I couldn't figure out what it was." By his mid-twenties, Peter had come to terms with the fact that many of his earlier aims and ambitions would never be realised. In Peter's words, "I was beginning to settle for a life that I wasn't completely satisfied with." It was at this point that I was contacted by a friend, Bill Smart, who offered me the opportunity to collaborate with him in this venture. As Peter now recognises, "in hindsight, it was excellent timing because I was in the looking zone at the time."

The process of being comfortable and overcoming his cynicism about what was feasible and if it would be worthwhile to put forth a serious effort took several months for Peter to complete. To begin started, he made tiny efforts with the assistance of his support network and mentors, but as his confidence and vision developed, he took larger strides toward realising his dreams. “In addition to learning from other successful business owners through the training system's seminars and conferences, the mentoring and guidance were vital to my success,” Peter adds.

In tandem with his growing confidence, Peter's belief in the possibilities of his situation rose, making the process of starting a business more pleasurable and thrilling. That meant that three and a half years after starting his firm, Peter had more than tripled the equivalent of his job income from his ‘part time' venture, allowing him to leave the regular labour at the age of thirty and live the lifestyle he desired.

“Looking back, it surprises me how straightforward the process was and how a few years of dedicated part-time effort enabled me and many others to attain the goals we set for ourselves in the first place. Because of the time flexibility provided by having a consistent source of income, it is possible to live a luxurious lifestyle. This provides us with the freedom to do what we want, when we want,” Peter explains.

Peter cites a number of advantages to owning his own firm, including being able to pay off debt, pursue hobbies and sports, and shop for what he wants rather than what he can comfortably afford. With this business, Peter has been able to school his children in the schools of his choosing, dine at restaurants without having to choose my food based on price, live in the location of his choosing, spend more time with his children over the holidays, and travel without restriction.

 Steve and Marcia are a married couple. Victor, the founder of Founders Platinum, established his company in Massillon, Ohio, in January 1994. “My parents are my role models. According to Steve Victor, his father was a second generation IBO, and his children will be fourth generation IBOs. “Dad was a wonderful role model. He started his own company, apart from his father's. He continues to be an inspiration to me.”

Steve met Marcia while attending college. “I had everything planned,” Marcia explains. The biggest challenge was figuring out how to strike a balance between a hard work and the family she'd always wanted.”

According to Steve, this was his "plan A" way of thinking (Plan A represents the way most people work and live, plan B represents this business and its opportunities). The phrase "everyone needs a plan B" is a favourite of mine.

Putting Plan A to the side didn't take much persuading for Marcia to make the decision. She first fell in love with Steve, and then with the others who worked at the company. She went on to become Steve's first IBO.

As a family business, we spend a lot of time at the family office, which includes me, my brother (Joe), and other members of the team.” Following our visit, we return home to begin building our own businesses by driving the miles and demonstrating the IBO Compensation Plan to our family and friends. The objective of our organisation is to pay it forward, to offer hope, and to provide an opportunity to realise dreams,” Steve explains. “Because we are a third generation family business, we have something special to offer. As part of my research and publishing a number of books in the topic of personal improvement, I have always sought for the ideas and approaches that are the most effective and that can help us alter our lives for the better.

After several years of investigation into the Amway Distributor organisation, I released an open letter to Independent Amway Distributors a year ago, which was received well by the community. Since then, I've continued my investigation into the Amway organisation and its founders. I have met and interviewed Amway Distributors at all levels of the organisation. During my travels abroad, I was able to witness firsthand the expansion of Amway's foreign operations. For the past several years, I've been researching the outcomes in the lives of individuals and families that are Amway Distributors.

My research has led me to believe that being an Amway Distributor may be one of the best ideas for personal and professional development that I have ever come across.

Listed below is a succinct summary of what I've learned thus far:

1. Amway is effective.

Currently, there are successful Amway Distributors who are the grandchildren of persons who started as Amway Distributors three generations ago and are still going strong. Amway's business has proven itself by surviving and expanding throughout the years.  We had a wonderful convention in Colombia last weekend, with 15,000 people from the Amway business in attendance. We had the opportunity to learn from some of the world's greatest leaders. It was an exciting and educational experience that provided opportunities for information acquisition, association with wonderful people, and personal improvement.

I've spent the last two years and six months growing the Amway business in Colombia, and my life has been transformed in every manner imaginable. It is incredible how quickly the life of a 24-year-old man can turn from negative to positive when presented with this opportunity.

Six years have passed since we were associated with the Amway business.

Our marriage was the first item to be preserved, and it is still the most important. And then there's me, who was in a really horrible frame of mind when I started, but has been maturing into someone I can be proud of.

You can't but but improve the quality of life for yourself and your children if you make these kinds of changes to your marriage, your self-image, and your outlook on life and success.

This has unquestionably occurred in our situation. When we began our self-development journey, our children were only six and seven years old, respectively. Our children have developed wonderful, healthy attitudes as a result of this, and have gone on to become leaders in their schools, as well as being successful in nearly everything they undertake. This has been more valuable to us than anything else.

Personally, I come from a labourer and welder family with a lot of "pub" nights and weekends under my belt and a low self-esteem to begin with. I can look back on my life six years ago and guess where I would have ended up if it hadn't been for the Amway business opportunity.

My family consists of my mother, father, and younger brother, and we live around 20 kilometres east of the city of Melbourne. My parents are also involved in the Amway business, and I can honestly say that my mother has changed dramatically since becoming involved in the company.

In my memory, Mum used to be "nearly content" with her existence, going through the motions of her daily routine without a lot of ambitions, desires, or aspirations. It was really difficult for me to witness because I adore my mother.

As soon as Mum and Dad got into the business, they were able to purchase some golf clubs at wholesale prices. Then, as they travelled to Queensland, they began listening to cassette tapes to pass the time on the 24-hour drive.

My mother's life was irrevocably transformed as a result of this, and it is for this reason that I decided to join the company. Mum has had a significant transformation, and she now has the greatest hopes and goals, as well as a passion for life and a desire to live it to the utmost.

The fact that there are many "Dreamers" battling for their future around the world gives me great hope!

I've travelled all the way from Hong Kong. I was 20 when I started my own Amway business on April 18, 1995, on the 18th of the month. In reality, before I comprehend the marketing strategy and the "System," I have a negative attitude toward Amway. I despise this type of company because I feel like I'm deceiving [misleading]. I'm not aware that it is a "people-helping" business.

I'm feeling pretty optimistic about the future right now. I've decided where I want to go. My upline and I, on the other hand, are having a number of difficulties in Hong Kong. There are numerous additional direct-sell companies that use the "wrong" strategy. Many residents of Hong Kong believe that this is "monkey business." Following that, the economic situation in Hong Kong is dire right now. They are always on the lookout for the "affordable" product.

All of us, on the other hand, have already made the decision that we will "NEVER GIVE UP." This is something I'm quite serious about. I'm under the impression that I'm a DIAMOND. The obstacle I've faced over the past few years is simply God's way of putting my determination to succeed to the test. "Without courage, there is no glory." If there is another Amway distributor who happens to see this e-mail, I want to assure them that we are in this together. We are battling [for] what we call "Freedom." On the 1st of July, 1993, I officially ended my police career in Canberra, Australia's national capital city. The decision to accomplish something with my life took me a couple of years, and this is the culmination of that process. My Emerald Direct sponsor assured me that being a part of the company would transform my life and attitude on life, and while I believed him, I may not have believed him enough to see the potential.

Just a few days ago, I chatted with an ex-colleague who, although being offered retirement at the same time, chose not to take the offer. It felt like I was travelling back in time when I was talking to this man. He was still alive in July 1993, while I was still alive in November 1998. It seemed as if I had never left, and that the days had not passed by since I had returned. These were the identical words he had uttered only days before I had resigned, and I recognised them immediately. He has been so engrossed with the bad aspects of his job that he is unable to see beyond the blinkers.

My life has altered, as has my wife's, as have my children's, and, most importantly, as have my circle of friends. Since becoming a police officer, I've grown from having three friends and a few acquaintances to being an Amway Distributor with hundreds of friends that I already know and thousands more that I haven't met yet.

Let us have some fun while also helping others, as this is my Pro-Am message from down under. It doesn't matter who you are; you have the ability to do it. We're doing it.

 Greetings, Dr. Helmstetter:

As a finance manager for a Fortune 500 business, I spent more than 17 years working my way up the corporate ladder. It happened to me in 1990 when my company was downsized. As far as I could tell, the world of business was changing, and if I didn't have job security with a corporation where I had worked for 17 years, my prospects of finding job security with another organisation were slim at best.

Because of my financial background and desire to be self-employed, a career transition into financial planning seemed like a natural progression. I had no clue how ill-prepared most people are for retirement, despite the fact that the majority of my clients participated in employee stock purchase plans and 401(k)s. To help my clients reach their financial goals, I would create financial strategies that would allow them to reach their desired retirement age and income. Then they discovered that they couldn't afford the additional savings required to fully support their strategy.

My realisation came when I observed the Amway operation. It occurred to me that it is far easier to teach people how to create money than it is to teach them how to save money that they don't already have. The following are two facts about which I am completely sure after six years in the Amway business. First and foremost, Amway is the best financial plan that an individual or family can become involved in based on the same criteria that you would use to evaluate any business opportunity (what is the investment capital required, how much time investment is required, and what is the income potential).

There are two things in life that most people desire more of yet do not have enough of: time and money. That is the TIME OPTION and the MONEY OPTION, respectively. My wife and I have worked hard to grow our Amway business, which has provided us with both.

After falling while riding her bike, our 10-year-old daughter sprained her ankle and broke the bone at the growth plate on her right wrist. We were well aware that we would require the services of a paediatric orthopaedic surgeon to fix our little girl's wrist.

We were able to select the best paediatric surgeon in northwest Indiana as a result of the Away business and the preceding years of hard work we had put into the company. We were aware that seeing this particular doctor would be more expensive, but our daughter was well worth the additional money.

That choice was made solely as a result of the growth of the Amway corporation business. That is the monetary part of what this company can do for you and how it can benefit you. It presents alternatives! Our daughter had to keep her wrist raised for five days, including when she went to sleep, because she had a fracture. We had to check on her virtually every hour of the night, which meant we were up almost all night. We were awake for the whole of the night and had very little sleep.

We were able to stay up with her since we had created the Amway business and were working on it full-time at the time. Perhaps if we had been working at a traditional job, we would have had to take sick leave or even spend vacation time in order to be with our daughter at a time when she required us the most. However, we were given the opportunity and the decision to remain with her.

This decision and opportunity were made possible by the Amway business that we have established. I strongly encourage anyone who is not already involved in the Amway business to do so. If you're in, keep the momentum going!

After nearly six years in the Amway business, my entire family (Mom, Dad, sister, brother and sister-in-law, as well as my own wife and children) has discovered that it is everything (and more) that they had promised.

My wife left the company after six months to spend more time with our children. My brother and his wife have lately welcomed their first kid, and she has also given her letter of resignation to the company. She has returned to her hometown to raise Collin. We've also seen other professionals in our organisation leave their positions in order to pursue more meaningful pursuits in their personal lives than their professions would allow them to.

With the sale of my hectic advertising agency, I am now free to choose my clients carefully (the fun ones!) and set my own hours for working with them. We've relocated to 2.5 acres on the waterfront and constructed a lovely home for my mother. (Dad passed away the previous year.)

Soon, I'll be taking a vacation from advertising to write an outline for a book, which has been a lifelong ambition of mine. The income from our Amway interactive distribution business has enabled all of this to happen. We haven't even begun in earnest yet, which is perhaps the most exciting aspect of all. We will acquire Emerald status during this fiscal year, and then the real fun will begin!

Have we accomplished anything? Yes, and it feels wonderful! Was it (and continues to be) worth it? Yes, and as I previously stated, we haven't even gotten started yet. Is it possible for others to do it? Definitely, without a question.

As a result of being in business for nearly four years, and aggressively growing my firm for the past year, my quality of life has significantly increased.

With my ruined credit, I came dangerously close to declaring bankruptcy not long ago. They not only assisted me in establishing an Amway distributorship, but they also assisted me in learning how to manage the limited funds that I had at the time of their advice.

Positive thinking has improved my ability to influence many more people in a positive way, and I sleep better at night knowing that I've made a positive difference.

I'm aware that all of these thoughts and feelings were already present in me, but Amway's leaders assisted me in realising them. He and his team dragged me out of the mud, washed me up, and set me on my way down a new route that is both exciting and daring. The benefits are tremendous for me, my family, and everyone else with whom I come into contact.

My career in local government spanned 25 years, the majority of which was spent as Chief Executive Officer, and my wife owned and operated various small businesses throughout the years.
