At the time of their initial interaction with the Amway business, Irénke and her husband Laszlo were working as school teachers in Eastern Hungary. They had been completely dormant for 18 months before deciding to follow the possibility, and four months later they were at 21% of the market.
They received their Emerald qualification in 1995, Founders Emerald qualification in 2003, and Diamond qualification in 2005.
Laszlo junior, their eldest son, is a Founders Platinum member.
In June 2006, doctors discovered a dangerous malignancy in László's body, which required immediate treatment. Doctors predicted that he would have only one week left to live; nonetheless, Laszlo remained optimistic and began to fight the sickness on his own. He was able to defy the doctor's forecasts for another five months after that. Laszlo died in October 2006, just two weeks after his father, who had died the previous month. His wife and two boys are the only ones who have survived him.
Since then, their organisation has grown in the memory of their inspirational leader.
In August 2006, László and Irénke qualified for the Founders Diamond tournament.
Irénke received her Executive Diamond certification in August 2008.
