Combden, Casey & Jeannie
Originally from Toronto, Casey Combden grew up near the intersection of Coxwell and Danforth Avenues. His father was a mechanic, and he grew up in such environment.
He was a 25-year-old nightclub DJ in Toronto who worked in the music industry.
It appears that his pals sent him to an Amway meeting as a joke about 1989 (according to an Amway video).
Casey had the opportunity to speak with Dr. George Bryniawsky, Ron Goldman, and other members of the Great Lakes Network leadership at that gathering.
The leather tie, which Casey recalls wearing that night and which became connected with his climb from "rags to riches," was a symbol of his success.
Casey progressed from nightclub DJ to Diamond in just four years, qualifying in 1993 with his then-wife, Cathy.
Cathy and Casey Combden received their Executive Diamond certification in 1997.
Their marriage eventually ended in divorce, and Casey is now married to Jeannie.
