Success Story (Swedish/Svenska)

It was a pure coincidence that we had the opportunity to see this business in the spring of 2000. Pia had then worked as a teacher for over 20 years and Jan was a lawyer and co-owner of a law firm in Stockholm since the mid-1980s. We both worked very hard, each in his own way. We had three active children - Johan, Sara and Anna - aged 19, 15 and 10 who of course also needed a lot of our time, care and support. It was so bad that we sometimes used to joke that we not only lacked our own free time but rather "was on minus time" which we would probably have to work in and return after retirement.

Our whole situation was contrary to what we were thinking and planning when we met in the mid-1970s; namely that we could both retire at the latest at the age of 50. We were materially well off, but we realized that it would certainly look the same in both ten and twenty years if we did not invent "something else". The question was just what. In that situation, a former colleague called Pia and told her that she herself had just come into contact with a different but interesting business idea that she thought would suit us perfectly. It took a while before Pia left alone for a presentation and it all hung for a while on a very fragile thread. Today, we are extremely happy that we actually took the time to investigate the company, the products and the entire business potential more closely.

Building a new business alongside our regular professions has never in itself been comfortable or gone by itself. Spending extra time in a situation when you already lack time can certainly seem "strange" to those who have not researched or understood how the Amway concept works. However, we felt early on that it was instead a temporary effort that could provide a permanent return in the future. That we had the privilege of collaborating with and using experiences from those who have already achieved great success made the "job" much easier. What has actually been required in addition is planning, prioritization and support to get it in place.

Pia stopped working as a teacher in 2002. Jan is currently completing some remaining assignments to end his legal work shortly. We and the children look forward with a common and very great faith in the future.

Hagman, Jan & Pia Amway

 Success Story (Swedish/Svenska)

It was a terrible slump when we finally had the opportunity to see the above-mentioned organisation in the year 2000. Pia had worked as a teacher for almost 20 years, while Jan had been an advokat and delägare at a Stockholm law company since the middle of the 1980s. We both worked a lot, and one of us was always on the move. We had three active children - Johan, Sara, and Anna – in the ages of 19, 15, and 10, respectively, who required a lot of our time, attention, and support. It was illa that we had to rely on scepticism about the fact that we weren't only saknad egen fritid, but also snarare ”lg p minustid” that we would have to work for and then retire from.

Our entire position shifted tvärt away from what we expected and planned when we arrived in the middle of the 1970s; specifically, that we would both be able to retire at the age of 50. We had good material, but we thought it would be interesting to see how it would look if both tio and tjugo r if we hadn't found anything else. Frgan had no idea what he was getting himself into. I called a colleague before this one and asked whether she had gotten in touch with an unrelated but intriguing affärsidé that she thought would be of interest to all of us. It was a day before Pia came in for a presentation and the whole thing hung in the air for a long time on a really skör trd. Today, we are overjoyed that we were able to devote time to researching the company, its products, and the entire affärspotential.

Building a new business on the side of one of our regular yrkes has invariably resulted in a bekvämt or självt självt självt självt självt självt självt självt självt självt självt självt självt Putting more time aside in a scenario when one is running out of time is almost certain to result in a “underligt” outcome for those who have not investigated or förstttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt We knew it was a question of a temporary insats that may lead to a permanent avkastning in the future, but we didn't know it. The fact that we were able to collaborate with and draw on the expertise of those who had previously just had a limited amount of experience made ”jobbet” a lot clearer. Plan

Pia worked as a lärare from 2002 till the present. Jan is currently working on a number of arduous tasks in order to maintain his advokatgärning in the short term. We, as well as the children, are greeted with a warm and kind greeting.
