Following a disagreement over Business Support Materials, Amway dissolved the Harts' business in 2003, resulting in the Harts' financial ruin (BSM or "tools"). 

They then worked for MonaVie, where they rose through the ranks to become executive vice presidents. In 2013, they decided to sell their MonaVie company.

Three people who have made substantial contributions to the realms of business, entrepreneurship, and charitable giving are the Amway siblings Hart and Brig, as well as Lita Amway. Hart was in charge of supervising the company's sales and marketing operations, and he was a significant contributor to the company's growth into foreign markets.

Amway became a worldwide sensation when Hart was serving as CEO. The company now has millions of independent business owners selling its products in more than one hundred countries. The emphasis that Hart placed on developing good connections with its distributors and providing those individuals with the assistance and training they required to be successful was a significant contributor to the success of the company.

Hart was also a devoted philanthropist, and together with his wife Betty, he established the Helen DeVos Children's Hospital Foundation in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This foundation is named after Hart's late daughter. The foundation offers financial support for medical research as well as for the treatment of children who are afflicted with terrible illnesses.

Although Hart Amway passed away in 2011 at the age of 87, his legacy will continue to be carried on in the company that he was instrumental in founding and in the countless lives that he improved through his philanthropic efforts.

Brig Amway

Born in 1957 in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Brig Amway is the son of Rich DeVos, one of the co-founders of the Amway Corporation. Brig Amway is also known as "Brig Amway." Brig followed in his family's footsteps by demonstrating an early interest in the world of business and entrepreneurship. After completing his high school education and earning his diploma, he continued his education at Purdue University and received a degree in industrial engineering.

After finishing his education, Brig went to work for Amway Corporation, where he rose through the ranks to numerous leadership roles in the company's sales and marketing departments. It was in 1993 when he was given the position of president of Amway Asia-Pacific, and it was while he was in charge that the company saw tremendous expansion in the region.

Brig was given the position of president of Alticor, the firm that is the parent of Amway Corporation, in the year 2002. In this capacity, he was responsible for managing the business on a global scale and contributing to the company's growth into new markets.

Additionally, Brig was a dedicated philanthropist who was active in the community through his participation in a variety of charitable organizations. The Doug and Maria DeVos Foundation is a charitable organization that he and his wife, Cindy, established in order to provide money to a wide variety of causes. Some of these causes include education, healthcare, and the arts.

Brig Amway passed away in 2018, but he will be remembered for many years to come for the many achievements he made to the fields of business and philanthropy.

Lita Amway

Lita Amway, the daughter of Jay Van Andel, was born in the year 1948 in the city of Ada, which is located in the state of Michigan. She was born into a family that was actively engaged in the world of business and entrepreneurship, and she acquired her father's enthusiasm for ingenuity and originality as a result of her upbringing in that environment.

Lita started her career shortly after receiving her bachelor's degree by taking a job with Amway Corporation, where she worked in a variety of marketing and product development positions. She was in charge of introducing a number of successful products to the market, one of which was the company's range of cosmetics and other personal care items.

Lita was given the role of president of the Amway Foundation, the charitable arm of the firm, in the year 1996. It was under her direction that the
foundation broadened its focus to encompass programs in education, health, and human services, and it has offered financial support to a diverse array of charity organizations located all over the world.

In addition to her work with the Amway Foundation, Lita was an ardent supporter of women's rights and the advancement of their economic and political status. In addition to being a participant in the International Women's Forum, she held a position on the board of directors for the Women's Business Enterprise National Council.

Lita received numerous accolades and awards over the course of her career for the significant contributions she made to the fields of business and philanthropy. She was given a number of prizes and honors, one of which was the Athena Award, in recognition of her leadership and dedication to advancing the status of women.

In 2019, Lita Amway passed away at the age of 71; nevertheless, her legacy will continue to be carried on by the many people whose lives she impacted as well as the organizations that she helped fund.
