Delisle, Frank & Rita Amway

Delisle, Frank & Rita Amway

The Delisle family serves as Crown Ambassadors for the United States. They have a son and daughter-in-law, Dennis and Sharon Delisle, who are also Triple Diamonds in the golf industry.

In response to the sudden closure of the company for which he worked, Frank Delisle, Jr. sought for a job that would not be easily taken away from him in the future. Frank and his wife Rita started their business in 1961, and it has grown steadily since then. They had reached the Platinum level within six months of starting. The quick expansion attracted the attention of Frank's fellow business owners, who elected him to the board of directors of the ADA (now known as the Independent Business Owners Association International) the following year as a result.

Frank served on the board for six years in a row, three of those as Vice President, before retiring. He attributes much of the inspiration for the continuous expansion of his company to his work on the Board of Directors during this time period, according to him.

The founders, Rich DeVos and Jay Van Andel, were among those with whom Frank had direct contact, according to Frank. "They shown a remarkable level of dedication to the Association. It was an extremely exciting time to be a part of it, and it provided me with a great deal of motivation to concentrate on my business."

In modern times, the Delisle firm is managed mostly by Dennis and his brother Frank Jr., who have advanced to the level of Crown Ambassadors in their father's company. There is also a third generation of Delisles that have become involved.

According to Frank, "we continue to work with our downline and attend the main conventions." "We're still as enthusiastic about the company as we were when we first launched it. When you are passionate about anything, as we are about our company, you cannot simply retire and walk away. It is quite important to us."

The Delisle is U.S. Crown Ambassadors. They have in law Dennis & Sharon Delisle, who are Triple Diamonds.

When the company he worked for unexpectedly went out of business, Frank Delisle, Sr. wanted to find a career he couldn't take away.

Frank and his wife Rita established his firm in 1961. Within six months, they reached Platinum status.

The quick expansion grabbed the attention of Frank's fellow business owners, who voted him next year to the ADA (now Independent Business Owners Association International) board of directors.

Frank served on the board for six consecutive years, three as vice-president. During this time, he credits his board work as giving much of the inspiration for his firm' continuous growth.

"I worked with Rich DeVos, Jay Van Andel, and the other founders," recalls Frank. "They exhibited the Association's exceptional devotion. Being involved was a very exciting moment, and it really pushed me to work on my business."

Today, sons Dennis and Frank, Jr. share primary responsibility for running the Delisle business that attained the position of Crown Ambassador. A third-generation Delisles also got involved.

"We're still working with our downline, attending important conferences," Frank remarked. "We're still as excited about business as when we started. If you're enthusiastic about something like we're doing for business, you can't just retire and go away. To us it means too much."
