The Kims earned 40 FAA points in 2002 and qualified for the Olympics (2002). Eugene and Sarah Kim are the gems in their immediate upline. They are members of Ron Puryear's WWDB organisation, and they are his subordinates. They began their Amway business in 1990, while still in the United States. They returned to Korea in 1991, after spending the previous 20 years abroad. They achieved Ruby status in 1992, but their share of the market plummeted to 12 percent as a result of the poor economic condition in Korea. After that, they were able to quickly rebuild their company. After only four years on the Korean market, they achieved Diamond status in 1994 and Double Diamond status in 1995. According to the Kims, 119 new diamonds were discovered in 2001!!! A new record necessitates the creation of a new title. The Kim's were given the "unofficial" title of 100 Plus Crown Ambassadors, which they accepted. The Kims cracked 240 New Diamonds in the year 2002! As a result, the 200 Plus Crown Ambassador pin was created. As of 2003, the Kims had 13 members on their Founders Council (Founders Triple Diamond and above). In 2005, they had more than 400 Diamonds in their downline, according to the company.

In the words of Esther Kim, "Actually, I'd been using Amway products for about 15 years before anyone informed me of the plan." The Kims are a member of a leg that was originally clients of Founders Crown Ron Puryear for a number of years before that.

They are a founding member of the TOP4 group of multinational organisations, which was established in 1995.

Story

Taking Part in the American Dream

In other parts of the world, the American dream is becoming more widely known, this time through a very ordinary Korean couple who decided to leave the United States, where they had lived for the previous twenty years, and return to their homeland of Korea in order to start their own independent business. Their only companion was their unquenchable desire to achieve achievement at all costs. Four short years later, they earned Double Diamond status and were able to devote their time and resources to assisting others. As a result of their continuing efforts to assist others, their company developed to become Triple Diamond. They were promoted to the rank of 100+ Crown Ambassadors in 2002.

Anything Is Possible in this World.

Leonard and Esther Kim are a true example of how this business has impacted people's lives. Using nothing more than business cards and a strong resolve to succeed, the Kims have grown their company to serve a global market that knows no national boundaries. They feel that nothing is impossible, and that even better things are in store for them in the future because opportunities continue to present themselves in front of them.

Our Possibilities Are Limitless!

A good leader is one who is willing to serve others. In order to be successful, many people believe that you must step over others in front of you. According to Leonard, this is not the case. “However, this company is a cut above the rest. First and first, your downline must be successful in order for you to succeed in this business.” The Kims have demonstrated the enormous success that may be reached by adhering to this philosophy. They established an amazing new milestone in the company's history by breaking more than 100 new Diamonds in the course of a single year. There has never been another time when such a monumental achievement has been realised. In order to recognise a brand-new level, a brand-new title was created, and the 100+ Crown Ambassador pin was bestowed for the first time.

The best record has yet to be released.

Later, the Kims shattered over 200 new Diamonds, setting yet another world record and introducing yet another new pin—200+ Founders Crown Ambassadors—to commemorate the occasion. A collaborative effort undoubtedly fulfilled both of these objectives and resulted in these accomplishments. Many tens of thousands of people took part, and they are now basking in the glory of having achieved these hitherto unattainable goals. The true measure of success is the number of lives that have been improved as a result of the Kims' efforts.

Optimistic about the future

The Kims are content with their lives and take pleasure in being met by strangers wherever they go in South Korea. They like not having to worry about their future, as well as the comfort and freedom that comes with living in a secure and abundant environment that allows them to be concerned about the security and happiness of others. "We were glad to help others, so we would prefer not talk about it," Leonard and Esther responded when asked about an anonymous good deed they had performed recently.

Extending Your Horizons

Despite the fact that they had spent the previous twenty years in the United States preparing for life overseas, they claim that the business trips they conducted taught them a great deal. They travelled to a variety of nations during their two-month stint overseas, including Japan, Hong Kong, Australia, South Africa, Hawaii, China, Europe, the United States mainland, and many others.

The Kims began expanding their operations to other nations after a speaking engagement in Japan provided Leonard and a few members of his downline with the opportunity to tour the country. He is now becoming more interested in the markets in China and Hong Kong as well as the United States.

Leonard and Esther have grown to enormously cherish and appreciate the support system provided by the World Wide Group. With the assistance of Ron and Georgia Lee Puryear, Leonard and Esther have assisted in the development of World Wide Dreambuilders Korea into an active support system that aids in the unification of their company. “We are only a small component of a much larger system that surrounds the entire world,” explains Leonard, “and our firm would not be nearly as successful if it were not for the World Wide Group support organisation.”

Sharing and assisting others is what life is all about!

The Kims are a true example of what can happen when people allow their lives to be used for the benefit of themselves and many others, as they have done. As a consequence of their willingness to assist others, their business prospered, and they received numerous blessings as a result. One of the biggest gifts for anyone who achieves true and lasting success is the person they have become as a result of the process of starting and growing their own business.

After reviewing their operations in Japan, Hong Kong, and China, Leonard and Esther are sure that their company has no boundaries in terms of growth. They believe that by following their example, many people would be inspired to build a strong foundation in Korea as Founder's Crown Ambassadors before going out to become leaders in the international market.

A quote by Leonard goes as follows: "Winners never give up, and those who give up will never achieve." « Accept one's own limitless possibilities and act with confidence, » says Esther. According to the Kims, the more successful you become in this profession, the more ambitious you become. Declaring that they will dedicate themselves to the business of "creating diamonds," they express their hope that "many people will find Leonard and Esther's world of Diamonds and enjoy the luxurious life and independence that come with running a successful business."

People all across the world sincerely desire the benefits of fulfilling the American dream—the freedom and responsibility that come with owning a successful business, as well as the opportunity of assisting others along the way. The American dream is a universal desire. In order to live a life of victory, it is necessary to have bravery, and Leonard and Esther have proved that a small ray of hope planted at the outset can grow to encompass the hopes and dreams of thousands of other people. Ordinary, everyday people who have risen to the status of heroes

Solid, dependable business operations at all times! “It's Christmas every day! CORE for every day! Change Happens Everyday! Everyday Obstacle Course! Everyday Selection! Everyday is a Reason to Celebrate! “Charity on a daily basis!”

“We think that God intended for everyone to achieve greatness. See you at the top!”

Seung Ho, Hyun Ja, and Jae Kim lead by example
Kim, Seung Ho & Hyun Ja & Jae Amway

On the surface, you will sense the kindness, generosity, and graciousness of Seung Ho and Hyun Ja Kim. Whatever your level of fluency in Korean, your company will be welcomed.

That message is brought to life in the smiles, handshakes, and dumpling scent that wafts from their kitchen.

The good will is not limited to guests only.

Anyone in Kim's life, whether it be a neighbour, friend, colleague, or employee, is treated as a part of the Kim family.

They sincerely adore people, says Jae Kim, Seung Ho and Hyun Ja's 25-year-old son.

For them, it is the most fulfilling thing in life to serve others.

They are in this industry to help as many other people as possible realise their ambitions.

The Kims are quite successful at their passion.

They've developed the largest Quixtar® chapter in North America, connecting Boston to Toronto to California.

Through tireless work ethic and the desire to help others, they have expanded their business to the Triple Diamond level.

Many people had a desire, but they forgot it because it seemed unachievable, explains Seung Ho. To assist them achieve their dreams, leaders should encourage and inspire others.

People can see that by looking at my life that 'I've been there, and you can too.'

“We tell individuals that this business is simple and we break it down step-by-step,” said Hyunja. To gain familiarity with the items, start using them, then share them with your friends and family, then go out and approach clients about the business potential.

One step at a time is the simplest way. We are always ready to assist our people.

IBOs frequently fund their first significant meeting expenditures because of the Kims' dedication to their downline.

They often go on speaking tours across the country to deliver speeches at gatherings organised by their downline and host free websites that provide essential business advice in Korean.

Jae is someone his parents have assisted a lot, particularly as an Independent Business Owner.

He was 9 when he started unpacking inventory at gatherings and 18 when he became an IBO, but it took a few years for him to really comprehend the possibilities before him.

Jae admits to struggling with usual teenage issues and failing to put parents' advice or time to good use.

My parents didn't pressure or lecture me, but they wanted me to really consider my future and the business.

That's not their style. They set a great example, doing the right thing, consistently.

Jae has recently become a partner in his parents' firm, and though some people might assume working with relatives is tough, he finds it quite natural.

He says, “I greatly admire my parents' wisdom.”

We talk and talk till we finish one other's sentences.

I prefer it this way because I believe communication is essential to our success.

Effective communication skills are crucial in all businesses, but teaching them is difficult.

Technical abilities can be learnt, but it is much more difficult to acquire soft skills.

Many factors helped to make these accomplished business people.

To conclude, Hyun-Ja and Jae credit Seung-Ho with being a capable leader, having a strong grasp of future-oriented ideas and effective strategic planning. His mastery of psychology and his techniques for promoting cooperation and smooth interpersonal relations has continually astonished them.

Seung Ho has many people skills because of his jovial nature.

He jokes with his family during the Achieve® photo session and tries to get piggyback rides on Jae while pretending to run off with construction signs.

The answer is simple, because Hyun Ja is undoubtedly the family's queen.

She is quite graceful, says Jae. "She is serene and gorgeous and exquisite, yet below it all, she is constantly working like a motorboat."

Hyun Ja's enormous energy is impossible to miss; she's constantly moving and tidying, always ready to provide refreshments or offer assistance.

Hands-on involvement is par for the course for Hyun Ja, selling things and IBO prospecting alike.

When she's on the road, Jae's mother is likely to jump at any chance to offer their business prospect.

She offered her number to an airport check-in employee, who was Korean, and she also sought out her flight seatmate, who was Korean.

Both became IBOs and friends of the Kims.

“My folks can accurately pick out visionaries,” Jae claims. Nothing is more intense than sitting with someone, staring into their eyes, and witnessing the dream burning inside them.

When seeking highly driven individuals, a pool of 10 instead of 100 will be considerably more useful.

For the family business, Jae feels finding the right individuals is key.

There's no way the Kims would do it. “Who has the best chance of dancing?” says Jae. If you like, we'll happily play the music for you.

a lengthy and winding road

Despite the apparent appearance of success, the Kims have faced many trials and tribulations on their way to prominence.

When the family first came from Korea, they lived in a small apartment in Flushing—and that was when they first spotted the business possibilities.

Seung Ho was unable to work, recovering from a devastating stroke that robbed half of his body of normal function.

Although Hyun-Ja recognised the promise the business had for their future, Seung-Ho was reluctant. With her positive attitude and positivity, Hyun Ja finally won him over.

The Kims had early troubles, being new to America, and with learning English.

They joined together and surrounded themselves with a talented team, which included proficient English speakers, worked hard to grasp the (Quixtar IBO Compensation) Plan and the products, and never lost faith, even when success appeared impossible.

The company attributes its success to exclusive items and strong support from the Corporation.

“The products have no equal,” adds Hyun Ja. “They're easy to share with others.”

People like XS™ Energy Drinks, Artistry® skin care and cosmetics, and Nutrilite® supplements.

The Kims like the Corporation's increased Korean language support, including a sales advisor who's proficient in Korean.

multicultural, cross-generational

The Kims have no wish to limit their business to only Korean race.

They have a fast-growing Hispanic downline, and are happy to take new members from all around the world.

Kim descendants embrace IBOs of any age, especially those under 25. Jae's increased involvement in the firm has aided the diversity of their group across cultures and age groupings.

“Jae really enjoys connecting with a wide range of people,” says Hyunja. “No matter how different they may seem, he finds a way to connect with everybody.”

It is also crucial to teach kids that they, too, can build the business, and show the elder generation that the firm can easily be passed on to the next generation.

“This business is extremely important,” adds Seung Ho. It's one of the main perks that the business offers.

All their doubts have been put to rest by their son's dedication, enthusiasm, and people skills.

Hyun Ja has greatly exceeded our expectations, he says. He's consistently committed and passionate in all he does. There is no doubt that he will raise our family business to new heights in the future.

The future is something the Kims anticipate.
