 Amway Conventioneers are familiar with Fred Sanborn and his Sanborn Singers, who are comprised entirely of Amway distributors. 

When the Conventions began in 1966 and 1968, they got things off to a rousing start, and they did it again for the Tenth Anniversary celebration.

Diamond Direct Distributors is a company that specialises in the distribution of diamonds. When Fred and Jan Sanborn first heard about Amway, they were already active and accomplished professional musicians in their own right. 

That evening, they invited "that Amway man" around to their house and signed up for the company that very night.

When it came to Amway, they brought the same energising zeal that they bring to their music. As a result of conducting home care demos and seminars around Southern California, they were certified as Direct Distributors. 

And it didn't stop there! They kept going! They were promoted to Diamond Direct Distributor two years later, and have subsequently received Seminar vacations to Acapulco and Puerto Rico as a result. 

With eight Direct Distributors under their sponsorship, they have consistently rated among the top organisations in the country.

Despite the fact that they are no longer in the professional music industry, the Sanborn Singers, directed by Fred and accompanied on the piano by Jan, continue to provide musical entertainment to Amway Distributors throughout the country. Along with being a talented pianist, Jan also works as a music composer. 

Her compositions for the "Amway" brand include "What Is Amway" and "Recruit, Train, and Motivate," to name a couple of examples. 

These, as well as many other rousing and uplifting favourites, have been recorded for Amway Distributors all around the world on this CD.

 In terms of personal satisfaction, "there have been numerous positive outcomes." The days before Gary and Bernice Rudisill started their business were "weary of never having any money," recalls Gary Rudisill. 

"I was tired of never having any money," he adds. "As a result of being turned over for a promotion at my computer firm job, I was forced to work second shift in order to keep the $24 a month insurance cost. 

I had a strong desire to get out of debt." It wasn't until the Rudisills learned that acquaintances who had "excellent, stable government careers" had quit in order to start this firm that they recognised there might be something better out there for them as well. 

When Bernice became a mother of two children, she initially desired to earn "a little bit more" in order to provide some extras for her children. 

However, the little bit grew into a substantial amount. As she explains, "Our family has benefited from a great lot of travel as well as other other advantages." 

"Both of our children have graduated from private Christian universities, which was a dream of ours when they were young children. 

We're currently putting money down for our grandchildren's college educations." "If you stick to the fundamentals, you'll find that results emerge from unexpected places," Gary continues. 

"We once went almost 2,000 miles to attend three days of meetings that produced nothing fruitful. However, another time, we arranged two meetings that resulted in the recruitment of several thousand associates in a different country."
