Amway Brazil works with Grupo de Apoio ao Adolescente e à Criança con Câncer (GRAACC) to ensure treatment for all children with cancer. His hospital—the Institute of Pediatric Oncology—is one of GRAACC's key weapons in fighting cancer. It provides free support to children and teenagers across Brazil, giving medical help, hospitalisation, chemotherapy, surgery, and more.
Fazenda Nutrilite, Ubajara's Nutrilite farm, provides school children with a Multimix vitamin supplement for nutritional deficiencies.
Fazenda Nutrilite works with schools to create gardens that serve as a venue for students' farming, biology, geometry and math lessons.
This cultivation results in plants that are ultimately utilised to manufacture Multimix, a mixture of dried and milled nutrients that together offer a nutritious and convenient approach to complement normal meals for children. Once a week, the kids gather the plant leaves and seeds and create the mix together with the school cooks in amounts adequate for the whole week. The supplement is supplied by the cooks as seasoning directly in soups, milk or over rice and beans dishes, without major taste changes, and the results are significant in addressing anaemia and undernourishment.
