Crown Ambassador Amway

As the IBO's successes developed, the Crown Ambassador pin was introduced in 1977. To become a Crown Ambassador, you must either:

• A certified Platinum must have 20 legs (3 of which must be in market), each of which qualifies at the Silver Producer level for at least 6 months of the fiscal year to qualify as a Crown Ambassador.

or

• Achieve Diamond status for 6 months of the fiscal year (6 legs must be in maracas)

History

The pin required 20 legs each with a Direct Distributor in the dowline when it was initially introduced. A Direct Distributor was defined at the time as a distributor who had 7,500 PV for three months in a row. Only 20 legs with a 25% score for one month were required for crown qualification. Crown Ambassador received a $20,000 OTCA honorarium at the time of his introduction.
