King, Roy & Sally
Roy and Sally King met at Belmont Abbey College in Charlotte, North Carolina, where Roy was a member of the Al McGuire basketball team and Sally was the school's homecoming queen.
When Roy graduated with a bachelor's degree in accounting, he immediately began working for the telephone company.
Sally has a degree in secretarial science and has worked in the insurance industry.
After 13 years as a corporate manager, Roy found himself working 80 hours a week and heavily involved in community affairs such as Junior Achievement, United Way, the Chamber of Commerce, and other organisations. He is now retired.
The leaders of the BWW team were introduced to Roy at this point, and he was impressed by their pursuit of financial independence and personal freedom, which he describes as "the ultimate lifestyle of financial independence and personal freedom."
Despite the fact that Sally was already living her dream of being a stay-at-home mom and caring for her three children, she cared enough about Roy to venture out of her comfort zone and assist him in reaching his objective.
She was willing to give up some of her time with the children in order to assist Roy in obtaining his freedom, so that all of the Kings could spend quality time with one another.
It was one of the most demanding and rewarding experiences of my life, says Roy, to be selected as a Diamond on the BWW squad.
During that time, he faced considerable job obstacles and was out of work on three separate occasions, for lengths of eight months, six months, and five months.
Roy's unwavering ambition to become a Britt Diamond and live in freedom, on the other hand, was not going to be denied."
In my capacity as a husband and parent, as soon as I realised this possibility, I relinquished my right not to establish this firm," says Roy."
He cared deeply for his wife and children, and he was willing to go to any length to achieve the #1 lifestyle on the planet and set a good example for his children.
All three of their children are now actively pursuing the development of their respective enterprises. It is their son Tony and his wife Lynn who are the sixth Platinum leg of the journey.
Lisa and Cindy, their daughters, will be platinum in the near future, and all three are perfecting the structure that will allow them to become diamonds in 18 to 24 months.
