Story
Having reached the highest current business level, Chuck & Jean Strehli can reflect back on their humble business beginnings when Chuck was a second-year law student at Texas University looking for a part-time employment.
Jean worked 60-70 hours a week as a dietician, juggling a demanding work-life schedule. "When Chuck did not see the plan, I chose not to be part at the beginning because I didn't have the facts and it made no sense to me," Jean recalls.
Chuck was first dubious and utilised his legal knowledge to extensively examine the company. It's gone.
By the time Chuck graduated and passed the bar exam, the Strehli's had reached Emerald and found their part-time "student" salary exceeding most law school instructors.
They chuckled today as they remember Chuck "choosing not to bind himself" to a law firm, even though he was completely licenced to practise. They have since traversed the world as a family on average one week a month.
Now Crown Ambassadors, the Strehli's are living proof that, "Business is something you can fit here for 15 minutes and there for 30 minutes if all your calendar allows.
