Hans Grunder
Hans Grunder is in Rüegsau. He's a rural family, married, and has five children. Since 1987, he has owned an international survey-consulting company with roughly 140 employees. Also known regionally (and not uncontroversially)[1] as the SCL Tigers president. He has worked with his family on his own horse breeding farm since 2001. [2] [2]
In 1999, Grunder was elected to represent the Swiss People's Party (SVP) in Bern's Grand Council. He was SVP's Trachselwald branch vice-president from November 1999 to November 2006. After that he remained branch president till 2008. He earned a national council seat in the 2007 Swiss federal election.
Grunder co-founded Canton of Bern's BDP. On 1 November 2008, he was elected as national party president during the BDP's inaugural general assembly. [3] [3] The National Council was re-elected in the 2011 federal election. On 5 May 2012, Grunder resigned as party president Martin Landolt's successor.
