When Daniel first started, he conducted an objective investigation of Amway, and he quickly realised that he had stumbled into a gold mine. That was in the mid-70s, remember? In 32 months, he achieved Double Diamond Distributorship, making him the first person to do so in Asia. When interviewed by renowned writer Paul Conn (who was working on his book Possible Dream at the time), Daniel indicated that the key to his success was his ability to see things clearly.

Daniel had previously had access to a wide range of other options prior to that. He was a high-profile CEO at a multi-national company who had graduated from a prestigious secondary school and had made it a priority to enhance his education. Daniel was one of the top students in the world when it came to seeking the prestigious ASTA travel certificate, for example. The fact that he had travelled much was one of the reasons why he was able to recognise and take advantage of the Amway opportunity later on. Since then, he has pursued a professional career.

According to Theresa, "Long-term financial security is a primary reason why we appreciate Amway so much," and she added that "what we now enjoy can be passed on to our children." We should look ahead with a vision to strive for a better future, and we should establish a bright-lit route for our families and ourselves, just as an eagle would "Daniel summed it up perfectly.

A Case Study in Success

Daniel worked as a top executive for a corporation based in the United States when Amway Hong Kong was initially created. He yearned for financial independence, and Amway provided him with the opportunity. In Los Angeles, USA, Daniel was introduced to the Amway business plan and immediately began to analyse it, discovering many extraordinary advantages Amway provided, such as time autonomy, fair reward, low risk, and long-term protection, among other things. Daniel eventually joined Amway as a sales representative. He believed that a great chance like this, which had been successful in the United States, should also be successful in Hong Kong. "The Amway business is unique in that once you have successfully established your own business, you will get residual and continual income even if you are away from Hong Kong, and you have complete control over the pace at which you expand your business. I employed self-discipline and diligence to construct a systematic foundation for myself over a period of 32 months. It was much less difficult after that. My days at Amway have been both rewarding and enjoyable, to put it mildly "Daniel expressed himself.

"For more than a hundred travels, my wife and I have been invited to participate in Amway's travel seminars, and we have continued to earn income even after returning from the excursions. Daniel believes that in order to be a successful leader, one must think ahead, take actions ahead, and lead ahead, which is to say, one must seize an opportunity before others begin to consider it; one must take actions while others are still considering it; and one must not simply move forward alone, but must lead others who share the same goal to work together and build a greater team in order to achieve the desired result.
