 "We both went to the University of Hard Knocks," says the author.

"At the age of 13, Hank Zampa travelled to the United States from his home country of Malta, where he spoke no English. 

The University of Hard Knocks, as Carol puts it, is "where we both went to school." They received accolades at the conclusion of their studies. 

Hank graduated with a degree in mechanical engineering and went on to work as a design engineer at Ford Motor Company, as well as being a co-owner of a restaurant. 

Carol worked as an executive secretary and was also the owner of a sewing company. Initially, they envisioned the business as a method to supplement their income in order to save money for a 30' yacht purchase. 

They also saw it as a chance for both of them, as well as for their three sons, in the long term. Following the purchase of the boat, they went on to acquire a new home. 

They sent their sons to private schools, and today, their dream of starting a family business has become a reality thanks to their efforts. 

"We instilled in our sons the belief that they can achieve anything in life if they are willing to put in the effort and demand the best of themselves. 

They have all gained self-assurance and a high sense of self-worth. "We believe in the values that this company represents."

 Their group associates from Warsaw to Rio de Janeiro extend a warm welcome to the Zampas as they journey across the world with them.
