SA8 Amway
Access Business Group produces the SA8 brand of laundry detergent and sells it to Amway and Quixtar. SA8, launched in 1960, was the second product Amway sold.L.O.C. was one of the world's first biodegradable multi-purpose cleaners.

Concentrated detergents meant less powder was needed per wash. Amway dealers may demonstrate the cost savings of the concentration to their customers.
Later, competing manufacturers including as Tide produced concentrated and biodegradable versions, cutting into SA8's advantages.
The product may be of satisfactory quality and has been seen in action, but there's nothing to guarantee that it will perform as promised.d 87).
Only this detergent earned the highest rating of "excellent" in all three categories of cleaning. It is free of NPEs, which are harmful to the environment.
To compute their predicted cost of 61c/load, Consumer Reports deemed SA8 a "Budget Buy". However, according to Quixtar, it costs 23 cents per load, in line with the competition.
