Story

In addition, the Sala family founded Network 21. (N21). Since 1982, they have grown from a small family business to a multi-million dollar corporation with Founders Crown Ambassador status in 2006.

They are based on the Gold Coast. The Salas said they worked hard to get to 3% after joining, but only qualified for 6% once owing to a cookware purchase. After a weekend seminar, they were a Silver Producer in 75 days.

And their network is one of the world's most vibrant. Being Australia's first Crown Ambassadors was one of their 100 childhood aspirations.

In addition, the Sala family founded Network 21. (N21).

Some of the dreams seemed outlandish.

Today, all 100 dreams, plus many more, came true.

The Salas were displeased. They had met a wall that seemed even longer than China's Great Wall. They had been tied to the 3% pin for 16 months.

They just couldn't move, despite all their efforts. Friends say the pair didn't look Crown (or even Diamond) material at the time, but they were continually striving to improve and find solutions.

One of those occasions.

Mitch and Deidre started writing down what would become known as their “100 Dreams” list. It included acquiring a wall unit for their living area and becoming Australia's first Crown Ambassadors.

They wanted to be able to fly First Class internationally, take their kids to a new destination every year, and thank their parents by taking them.

“The dreams we wrote down were insane,” Mitch admits. “Wacky dreams. We had never succeeded before. Normal people with an abnormal ambition to advance.”

Those 100 dreams have mostly come true. The Crown Ambassador Pin, Mitch's most ludicrous desire (Dream Number 36), became a reality in 1998.

A few years later, after being introduced to Australia, the Salas decided to go for it as well. “It's fantastic to believe you can write something down and it will truly come true,” Mitch says.

“What we've done is unique in business.”

Now that the Queensland pair has achieved the highest pin level in Australia, it's clear that what they've acquired from the experience goes beyond the material rewards.

They live in a beautiful mansion with a beach backyard. They have four automobiles and a horse farm, but that's not what they brag about.

They are most proud of the independence their business has given them to raise their children.

Mitch and Deidre made sure their kids Rick (19), Tamsen (18) and Blake (15) had a great childhood with both parents around.

One of the reasons the family moved from Sydney to the Gold Coast was the proximity of their new school and the slower pace of the city.

Deidre and Mitch planned their work schedules with their kids' school hours so they could be there with them as soon as they got home.

Every year, the Salas go on a six-week family vacation. There is only one rule: no phones, iPods, or email. No electronics.

This vacation is solely for the Salas to bond. When the regulation was originally imposed, the kids protested and demanded compromises.

They now appreciate it and often enforce the regulations.

“It's rare to be completely out of touch with your business and everyone just to travel. “That's the main benefit,” Mitch explains.

“We could tell that our time together was bringing us closer to the kids.

We wanted a tight family and open communication so our kids could do the same with their own families.”

“We worked hard and consistently throughout our professional career.” But it's amazing how you can balance career and family.”

Their overseas upline, American Founders Crown Ambassador Nancy Dornan, first emphasised their feeling of familial loyalty.

See life through your kids' eyes, Nancy advised. Mitch said they physically shifted direction after that. Nancy and Jim would give the couple more counsel.

Mitch and Deidre have remained loyal to the Dornans and believe they are a big part of their success. “We have a lot of loyal leaders because we followed Jim and Nancy,” Mitch explains.

“We unexpectedly got an essential principle right. Being faithful to someone made us an example to others.”

Debbie and I never set out to be number one; we just concentrated on our objectives, goals, and never giving up.

Success Suggestions

Make your own 100-dream list with Mitch and Deidre Sala's help.

Don't judge.

“My main piece of advise is not to expect too much. Sometimes a poor experience turns into a fantastic business.

Things can go wrong when you least expect them. Like health. Going to the gym one day won't work. It builds up.”

Simplification

“We all have hectic lives, but this business is the answer. It takes time, thus downsizing your life is essential when starting this business.

Your business need intentional space when you decide to grow it.

Exemplify

People have copied us because we spend a lot of time trying to do the right thing. It's commonly said that "example is the only thing."

Keep it Simple

Mitch and Deidre have both created the business and mastered every aspect of it.

“When you focus on others instead of yourself, the business becomes addicting.

We are frequently asked why we continue to do this, present the plan, and expand the business.

You become addicted to the change you see in others.”
It is common knowledge that Sala, Mitch, and Deidre Amway are three siblings who have made significant contributions to the fields of business and philanthropy.

The Amway children were brought up in a family that was both financially successful and entrepreneurial, and as a result, each of the Amway children went on to found their own businesses that were also very successful.

In this piece, we will take a more in-depth look into the lives of Sala, Mitch, and Deidre Amway, as well as the achievements that they have achieved.

Sala Amway

Born in 1947 in the state of Michigan in the United States, Sala Amway is the eldest of her three siblings. Sala spent her childhood observing her parents as they built a prosperous business, and she was profoundly impacted by the entrepreneurial spirit that she saw in her parents.

After Sala finished her education, she immediately went on to launch her own company in the beauty and fashion industries. She started her own company, Nutrilite, which went on to achieve phenomenal levels of success and paved the path for her to enter the field of direct selling.

Sala was given the position of president of Amway Japan in 1984, and throughout her tenure in that job, she was instrumental in growing the company's foothold in the Asian market.

Additionally, she played an important role in the development of the product line and marketing strategies for the company.

In 1992, Sala was honored for her contributions to Amway's success by being admitted into the Hall of Fame of the Direct Selling Association. This honor was bestowed upon Sala in recognition of her achievements.

In addition to the success she has had in the corporate world, Sala is well-known for the charitable work she has done. In addition to making major financial contributions to a variety of other philanthropic projects, she is the founder of the Helen DeVos Children's Hospital Foundation.

It was Mitch Amway.

In 1949, Mitch Amway was born in Michigan, which is located in the United States. Mitch, just like his older sister, inherited the entrepreneurial spirit from his parents and went on to create his own business that was a huge success.

In the beginning of his career, he was involved in the music and entertainment industries, working in both capacities of talent agent and promoter. In 1986, he established his own record label known as Windquest Group, which was responsible for producing music for a number of different performers.

In addition to the success he has had in the corporate world, Mitch is also well-known for the contributions he has made to several environmental causes.

He is a devoted sailor and has put in a lot of effort to advance the cause of clean energy and lessen the impact that his businesses have on the environment. Additionally, he has held board positions for a number of different environmental organizations and has been presented with a number of awards in recognition of his work in this field.

Deidre Amway

Deidre Amway was born in the United States in 1956, in the state of Michigan. She began her professional life in the field of journalism, where she worked for a number of different newspapers and news networks. In 1995, she became involved in the family business and was soon after given the position of president of the Amway Foundation.

While she has been in charge of the foundation, it has been able to make significant contributions to a number of different charitable and social causes, such as education, health, and the environment.

Deidre is well-known not only for the charitable work that she does, but also for the advocacy work that she does on behalf of women.

She has been very active in the movement to advance gender equality and women's empowerment, and she has served on the boards of directors of a number of organizations that are dedicated to achieving these aims.

Conclusion

Three members of the Amway family, Sala, Mitch, and Deidre, have each been recognized for their tremendous accomplishments in the areas of business and philanthropy. They were able to launch their own profitable businesses as a direct result of the entrepreneurial mindset that had been passed down to them from their parents.

They have also made major contributions to a variety of social causes and charity organizations through the work that they do in the realm of philanthropy. Their achievements will continue to serve as a source of motivation for future generations of businesspeople and philanthropists.
