Both Cape Town and Johannesburg are home to Amway Southern Africa's regional offices, with the warehouse and distribution centre based in the latter city.
Amway South Africa's headquarters are located on Dock Road in Cape Town, near the entrance to the V & A Waterfront.
As part of its expansion strategy, Amway has opened Experience Centers in Johannesburg and Cape Town where its Independent Business Owners can become acquainted with the company's product line, obtain appropriate business tools, and receive training in the well-equipped meeting locations.
Earlier this year, Amway South Africa L.L.C. announced that it would expand its operations into Namibia and Botswana, respectively.
A member of the Direct Selling Association (DSA), Amway South Africa L.L.C. is also a founding member of the Ethics Institute of South Africa (EISSA) .[2]
The Artistry skin care line, as well as E. The Funkhouser cosmetics products account for the majority of Amway South Africa's sales, accounting for around 35% of total sales in the country.
A further 28% of the market is devoted to health and wellness items .[3]
As part of its partnership with African Fashion International, Amway South Africa selected Artistry Cosmetics as the exclusive cosmetics partner for Fashion Week 2007 in Cape Town and Johannesburg, which took place in August 2007. .[3]
It is a division of Amway's Australasian and Southern African Region that is responsible for operations in Southern Africa .[4]
