Youngblood, Ray & Carroll
Both Ray and Carroll Youngblood grew up on modest farms in north Louisiana, and they met while studying at Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, Louisiana, where they were married in 1989.
The Marine Corps had been Ray's home for four years, and he was utilising his VA benefits to help pay for his college education.
Following graduation, they tied the knot and both began working as school teachers in Shreveport.
Ray taught for one year before deciding to enlist in the United States Air Force.
Ray achieved the rank of major after attending numerous colleges, relocating across the country, and putting in a lot of effort.
He was invited to visit the network marketing company not long after he received his promotion.
At the time, Ray was serving as a squadron commander in Raleigh, North Carolina, and Carroll was working as a teacher at a Christian school in the city.
Carroll had hoped to start the company from the ground up, but Ray was quite suspicious.
Carroll produced an income that was three times her teacher's wage in only a little over six months, with a lot of aid and encouragement from other IBOs in the network.
This was after 14 years of teaching and a lot of hard work. That's when Ray started to get excited!
When he joined the team, they were able to start building their company as a unit.
Ray and Carroll realised that they would receive substantial monetary rewards right away, but they quickly learned that there were larger rewards to be had in this enterprise.
The capacity to work together as a husband and wife team, the ability to make a difference in the lives of others, the ability to travel as a family, and the ability to create and achieve common goals were all things that the Youngbloods were interested in.
In order to spend more time with their two children, friends, and family, Ray and Carroll both retired from the military and from teaching school, respectively, so they could focus on growing their business and relaxing with their families.
The couple's daughters, Tanya and Russell, are both starting their own networking enterprises right now, with the support and encouragement of their "proud" parents.
"What a wonderful family business," Carroll exclaims, as she describes how amazing it is to work together as a family and then spend time together on the beaches of different countries.
When Ray reflects on how the Britt system of tapes, books, and functions has transformed his entire thought process from one of negativity to one of positivity, he comments, "the networking business is great."
It was when Ray and his team stopped focusing solely on growing their company and began focusing on growing their people that "our business truly took a tremendous leap forward," as Ray puts it. Ray and Carroll Youngblood are visionaries with a clear sense of purpose, no doubt about it!
