Originally from Maine, Ted and Naomi Fish are involved in pastoral ministry there. Ted is a preacher and is actively involved in pastoral work. They are the parents of a daughter named Jacki.
Ted and Naomi Yager began their Amway business in 1972, with personal sponsorship from Dexter and Birdie Yager. Within six months, they were promoted to Direct Distributor (Platinum), then to Emerald in 1980, and finally to Diamond in the fall of 1988.
Disputes & Controversies
In 1998, a group of distributors filed a lawsuit against Ted Fish and another Diamond, Andy Andrews, alleging that they had breached a contract during speaking engagements. . Ted Fish acknowledged in his deposition that Diamond speaking engagements had no predetermined fee and that he had received payments ranging from zero to around $10,000 for speaking engagements at seminars, including Weekend Seminars, for other Diamond companies.
Several TEAM leaders were fired in 2007, and Ted Fish and Tyler Libby filed a request for a temporary restraining order against Quixtar to prevent this from happening again. Quixtar replied by asserting counter-claims against the plaintiffs. The case was referred to informal conciliation, following which Ted Fish was dismissed from the proceedings (with prejudice).
