In the early 1990s, Roger and Roxanne Holt became members of Amway. They have its headquarters in Orlando, Florida. Roxanne met Roger Holt, a graduate of the United States Military Academy and former helicopter pilot, while he was presenting the Quixtar business opportunity.
That first cup of coffee together was the beginning of their love storey, and they were married not long after. After growing up with her diplomat father and touring the world, Roxanne says, "Being a stay-at-home mom was something I always desired."
The additional revenue from their Quixtar business enabled her to realise her dream. Today, the couple is blessed with three beautiful daughters: Kalee, 12, Aubrey, 9, and Delaney, who is just a few weeks old.
At first, the decision to become IBOs was motivated by the desire to increase Roger's income from his mortgage business, as well as the need to fund more purchases and maintain financial flexibility. Roger now thinks on the situation: "Our Quixtar business continued to grow even as the mortgage and real estate markets declined." It has proven to be a gift for our family during these difficult economic times.
The couple's principal source of income is now derived from their Quixtar business. However, for the Holts, the importance of owning this firm outweighs the financial gain. It instils a sense of belonging in children, which helps to enhance their faith. Roger continues, "It's exciting to see where this company will take you."
It is through this camaraderie that we are able to strengthen our ties with friends and neighbours - both within and beyond of our country's boundaries. He emphasises the company's expanding downline presence in Trinidad & Tobago. It all started with a casual talk in their hometown and has grown to include more than 100 IBOs.
Roger and Roxanne Holt became certified as Sapphires in July 2003. In September 2004, they were awarded the title of Founders Sapphires. In 2005, the Holt team hosted 200-300 company owners at key conferences, according to the team.
In September 2006, they began the Emerald Qualification process, and they became Emerald qualified in 2007. Roger and Roxanne Holt were awarded Diamond status in 2011. The LTD LOA is associated with their upline Diamond, Mike Bundy, and they are also affiliated with the LTD LOA.
