Everything about our current situation amazes me!! – In response to the question, "Why establish an AMWAYTM business?" Olga Reyes reveals that she and her husband were only looking for money to pay the rent and cover the cost of her NUTRILITE® nutritional supplements.
They explored the possibility when Omar sustained a hand injury while working on a carpentry project and was unable to work.
With strong expectations of securing a better future for themselves and their children, 12-year-old twins Jorge Alberto and Dulce Georgina, the couple arrived in the United States. Knowing that the road to that future would be difficult, they decided to leave the children in the care of their grandparents in Honduras.
During this time, Olga cleaned houses while Omar worked day jobs in carpentry and landscaping, and she became increasingly sad. “One of my ambitions was to create a restaurant with my husband. Instead, we were constantly separated from one another and from our children.”
When Olga's mother told her brother, who also happened to own an AMWAY firm, about her daughter's sadness, he was shocked and upset. “My uncle sent me many NUTRILITE supplements, which were quite beneficial,” she says in response.
As a result of Omar's hand injury, the couple resolved to find out more about what her uncle performed for a job.
After jumping in, they were able to reach 18 percent in their sixth month. Following their receipt of their check and realising the size of the sum, "we decided to double the effort." The following month, our paycheck increased by a factor of two. As a result, we increased our efforts once more. And the following month, our pay check more than tripled!” he recounts. “By developing leaders in our downlines, we learned that our revenue might rise at a faster rate than the amount of effort we put in.”
They resigned from their positions at Platinum. Currently, "we are scrambling about like mad to get Diamond!" Omar expresses himself. “We are bringing the children in the same month that we qualify.”
With all of their incentives, the couple has just completed the purchase of a new home in preparation for the children's return. In addition, he explains, they will be taken to a variety of locations where they will be taught the principles that have been learned via this enterprise. Olga continues, "We are extremely grateful to God for this fantastic chance." “The life we have now is incredible!” said the family.
