Deepak and Shalini Choudhary have gone a long distance in pursuit of success - a distance that is measured in more than simply kilometres for the couple.
The two came to the United States from India to further their education - Deepak for a Master's degree in Distributed Systems from Cornell University, and Shalini for a Master's degree in Journalism from the University of Missouri at Columbia - and to be closer to their families. We achieved academic success, obtained excellent employment, and began pursuing rich career routes, according to Devashish. Deepak went on to have a successful career working for multiple Fortune 100 firms in the Bay Area, while Shalini has worked for NBC, CNN, the White House, and other notable organisations as well.
Deepak, on the other hand, desired something more. According to him, "I didn't like the restrictions and limitations imposed by major corporations." "Despite the long hours, travel, and hard effort, I didn't achieve the degree of success I had hoped for." In response, Deepak leaped at the opportunity when a colleague showed him the Independent Business Ownership Plan (IBOP).
"We were a young couple with limited financial resources," Deepak explains. It seems like starting a firm powered by Amway would be the most stress-free way to get away from the regular business world.
"We were determined to see the company through to success," Shalini adds. We had to learn self-discipline, how to work together, and how to maintain our focus, which took some time," says the group.
Finally, it was navigating that learning curve that convinced the Choudharys that they were on the correct course. "We attended a huge conference very early on," Deepak recalls. "The calibre of the individuals we encountered truly opened our eyes. It was clear that there were strong morals, good leadership, and mentoring - everything we'd been missing while climbing the corporate ladder. We had the feeling that we had returned home."
Deepak and Shalini are married and have two children, Devik and Diya, who live in San Jose, California.
In India, Deepak and Shalini had two Diamond Legs each.
