In 1970, Bob and Terry Andrews became part of the Amway organisation. It was in the trunk of Bob's 1968 Chevelle that they established their first office, complete with adding machine. Terry was 19 at the time, and Bob was 23. They had learnt about the network business possibility and had gone in search of a sponsor, and though their beginnings were small, the consequences were quite the reverse of what they had anticipated. Now, with the help of their kids Matt and Cale, they have built a magnificent home on a piece of land that includes a fishing pond for their enjoyment. They take advantage of their beach house whenever they want, go to Hawaii, and have gone swimming with dolphins in Australia and diving at the Great Barrier Reef with other business owners. Cale and Aura Andrews are also eligible to be classified as Sapphire.
"We wouldn't trade places with anyone else on the face of the planet," Bob declares. "It's enjoyable to be in love with each other and to enjoy our lives."
Previously, Terry Andrews served as a member of the IBOAI Marketing Advisory Committee from 2007 to 2009, and he has been voted chair of the 2009 IBOAI Marketing Advisory Committee.
Bob Andrews has been voted as the chairman of the 2009 International Business Owners Association International (IBOAI). A former vice-chairman of the International Business Owners Association International (IBOAI), he served as chairman of the IBOAI Legal & Ethics Committee in 2007.
