Fulfilling Your Upline's Dreams?

One of the difficulties I have with the Amway compensation model is that the newest IBO, who may be the one who does the most "Work," is paid the least. Amway gives back around 32% of their profits in the form of bonuses. An IBO who completes 100 PV earns a 3% bonus, with the remainder going to uplines and sponsors. Some in the upline may never have met the IBO who conducted the actual work. Is that truly equitable and on a level playing field? What did some of these uplines perform to earn the majority of the bonus you worked so hard for? Yes, the upline diamond may present the plan in an open meeting, which may be beneficial to you, but you must pay to attend that meeting.

Many of your uplines will discuss dreams and how to achieve them. However, if an IBO takes a moment to reflect, it is clear that you are creating your upline's aspirations, not your own. You get a small percentage of the bonus for the volume you move, and if you're on the system, you also pay upline in the form of tool purchases for the privilege of giving them bonuses with your product purchases.

It's why your upline diamonds can wear designer outfits and show you their expensive vehicles, mansions, and other toys on stage. It's because they're attempting to profit from your efforts. You are assisting them in realising their ambitions. Your commitment to shifting volume and acquiring standing orders is making dreams come true. Upline fantasies Yes, you can expect to one day have your own downline to exploit for your own gain, but unless you are consistently adding people to your downline, you will never attain the kinds of dreams that uplines talk about. In the meantime, every occasion you attend is undoubtedly assisting someone upline in achieving their goals. Ironically, even if they don't know your personal circumstances or how your business is performing, your upline leaders will advise you not to quit.

Here's a test for IBOs and/or prospects interested in joining the Amway business. Monthly costs for 100 PV will be around $300, while monthly costs for the tools system will be around $150 to $250 on average. Wouldn't it be better if you just wrote a $100 check to your upline and didn't even join? Wouldn't it be better if you stayed at home and watched TV instead of joining? If you read everything on this site and still want to participate, good luck, but keep in mind: Whose aspirations will be realised as a result of your participation?

Is it yours or your upline's fault?
