Numerous people have their own perspectives on the Amway opportunity, including, unsurprisingly, criticism and support for the company. Amway has been around for a long time and, in my opinion, has reached saturation. Saturaton does not necessarily imply that every single person has become connected with Amway. By saturation, I mean that a large number of people have been involved, or know people who have been involved, and/or have been recruited or protected by Amway Independent Business Owners (IBOs). We also understand that with saturation comes stagnation and a lack of ability to uncover new prospects and generate income.
Take, for example, the United States. My old LOS, WWDB, may have generated some new diamonds in the United States, but I am unaware of any new diamonds being produced in the United States. I'm also aware that certain diamonds have resigned, died, or otherwise left the business. While some Amway defenders may counter that there are many new platinums, it is also true that many other platinums may not have qualified for platinum status again, which is something to consider. If there were genuinely all of these new platinums, we should have seen new diamonds and other large pins, but it appears that these individuals are becoming increasingly scarce these days.
Every year, hundreds of thousands of individuals graduate from high school and enter the workforce, which, according to one explanation, explains why Amway is not saturated. That is the defence, and although that may be correct, it is also the sole reason why Amway has not reached saturation because new eligible persons are added to the population on an annual basis. Who would be left in Amway if we were to eliminate all of the persons under the age of thirty from the company? If it were to happen, there would be a very small number of humans remaining.
What we're seeing now is the result of reaching saturation point. You may see some new faces in the system, but for the most part, they are simply filling in for those who have resigned. Those who are successful in Amway are individuals who are able to successfully replace those who have left the company. If you don't have any churn, your business will gradually deteriorate until you no longer qualify for bonuses. Even some of the industry's biggest names have experienced decreases at times, but we may now know why because Amway's policy is "once a diamond, always a diamond." This means that once you qualify, you will be required to wear the pin for the rest of your life.
Is it still feasible to achieve success in Amway? Yes, it is conceivable, but it appears to be becoming increasingly difficult due to the fact that the potential, at least in the United States, has become virtually saturated.
