Amway/WWDB Leaders Killing The Golden Goose?

 The Legend of the Golden Goose: The Golden Goose is a mythical creature that lives in a cave in the Himalayas.

While Avianus and Caxton both recount stories about a goose that produces golden eggs, there are other legends about hens, such as the following from Townsend: "A cottager and his wife owned a Hen that deposited a golden egg every day." Their assumption was that the Hen must have a large chunk of gold hidden within it, and in order to obtain the treasure, they slaughtered the Hen. This was followed by the discovery that the Hen was no different from their other chickens, which surprised them even more! The gullible couple, in their hopes of becoming wealthy all at once, robbed themselves of the benefits that they were told of day by day in the process.

I recently came upon a blog post regarding a WWDB function that took place in Canada last month. According to reports, WWDB staged three Dream Nights in the same venue in Canada, all on the same night, seemingly on consecutive nights. In the aftermath of the event, there was some debate about whether or not there were enough IBOs to fill the three functions, and whether or not downlines had been encouraged to attend all three activities. The three functions were likely to draw a small number of IBOs, but I'm willing to bet money that the leaders and some others were strongly urged to participate. If this is correct, it appears like the WWDB's top brass will wind up murdering its own golden goose in the process. If this is accurate, the WWDB leaders are attempting to extract even more money from their loyal downline, and I have a strong suspicion that this will eventually result in even more IBOs resigning in the near future. They will come to know that they are chasing an unrealistic dream and that they are going broke in the process.

Certainly, it makes logic and can be explained in light of the available information. It indicates that Amway's sales in the United States and Canada have been declining. There aren't many new IBO or critical blogs to be found. This shows that the knowledge available on the internet is useful in both directions. Because IBOs are able to make informed decisions, it is likely that fewer individuals will sign up, resulting in fewer sales, fewer IBOs, and fewer critics. Several of WWDB's energetic leaders have departed the company; several WWDB leaders have had their houses foreclosed; and a triple diamond was involved in Chapter 7 bankruptcy procedures, but I am not aware of the outcome of that situation. However, when you combine all of these elements together and think about it for a minute, it all makes sense and adds up. Amway income and tool income would both decrease as a result of less sales and fewer independent business owners (IBOs). Consequently, one method of compensating for it is to have the remaining IBOs pick up the slack by attending additional functions. WWDB presumably spends $20 to $25 per person to host a Dream Night, therefore the remaining portion of the ticket price is profit. It is possible to triple your profit if you can convince people to attend all three functions at the same time.

It makes me question if WWDB is educating IBOs on how to purchase more standing orders as well as other CDs and resources. When I worked as an IBO, we were urged to purchase more tickets for events, and we were heavily encouraged to purchase 5-7 additional tapes (cds) each and every week in addition to our regular standing order purchases. Considering that sales are down, I can't think that anything has changed, other than perhaps more pressure on downlines to consume tools. Anyone in the audience who can confirm this for me would be greatly appreciated.

If this is true, then WWDB is unquestionably murdering their golden goose

Amway and WWDB, also known as World Wide Dream Builders, are two corporations that have collaborated with one another for a significant amount of time. Training and assistance are two of the services that WWDB provides to Amway distributors. WWDB is an independent business organization that operates under the Amway business paradigm.

Concerns have also been raised over the methods of business promotion that certain Amway and WWDB officials have employed in the past. Some leaders have been accused of adopting dishonest or misleading tactics, such as misrepresenting possible earnings or making false claims about the products or the business opportunity. These accusations have been leveled against them as part of a pattern of behavior known as "leadership fraud." These behaviors have the potential to tarnish the reputation of the Amway and WWDB community as a whole and make it more challenging for individual distributors to establish profitable businesses.


The high cost of participation in the Amway and WWDB business opportunity is another concern that has been voiced by many who have expressed their concerns about the possibility. In order to get started, distributors are required to make purchases of both items and training materials. Additionally, there are continuous costs connected with the operation of a distributor's business. Some critics believe that these fees are exorbitant and can be a barrier to entry for many individuals who may be interested in the business opportunity. They say that this argument is supported by the fact that the argument is presented in the first person.


In spite of these worries, there are a significant number of people who continue to have faith in the possibilities presented by the Amway/WWDB business opportunity. Some contend that the company model can continue to be a viable alternative for individuals who are interested in achieving financial success if the appropriate approach is taken and the focus is placed on product sales and customer happiness. Over the years, the companies have generated a large number of successful business leaders and entrepreneurs.
