(Amway Australia) because Magazine article, March 2007

Peter and Debbie Cox are the first couple in Australia to have achieved four pin levels in one year.

At Bobbin Head Marina Café, Peter Cox tells us that "we're not your average Crown Ambassadors".

Sporting a slicked back mullet, shorts, and thongs, and speaking in a relaxed manner, it's impossible to tell that Joe and Debbie have just made AMWAY® history.

In one year, the couple defied all rationality and was elevated to the Founders Double Diamond, Triple, Crown, and Crown Ambassador tiers in only twelve months.

It was the three-year goal of ours, and that we hadn't done it previously.

Crown Ambassador in 2006 was made possible because to Jim and Nancy Dornan's global vision and their dedicated, devoted global leadership team.

The family's new Mustang 4600 Sports Cruiser, suitably named Dreamer II, is located a short walk away from where they are sitting. They rewarded themselves once they qualified as New Crown Ambassadors.

Her interest is sailing, which offers family time and provides leadership skills in a serene setting. Also, they had a new CLS63 AMG delivered.

To emerge from a questionable history, the only option was to dream large. In her teens, Debbie was dealing with teenage troubles and was in with the wrong crowd.

At 15, she had hit rock bottom. She confirms in her autobiography that these events were a watershed in her life. Her life was heading in either one of two directions:

down or up. So she did. At a young age, Debbie became self-sufficient and demonstrated signs of her perseverance and resolve, which would later lead her and Peter to becoming Royal Ambassadors.

Even after Peter and Debbie met on Great Keppel Island in 1985, their relationship was still problematic.

Before starting AMWAY, they had $11 in the bank. On the outside, we both looked excellent as marketing managers and sales executives. We were unemployed.

We overspent our cash. We were stuck and going nowhere.

After running across an old colleague, a fellow distributor, Debbie was invited to get involved in the AMWAY business in October 1988.

Debbie instantly concluded that the car would provide the financial freedom they needed.

For three years, the pair worked exceedingly hard to grow their business, having full-time jobs throughout the day.

After 18 months and three years, Debbie and Peter went through the same pattern until they were both ready to retire.
Most people would have stopped, but the business-minded couple kept going.

Peter states that they demonstrated the sales and marketing plan 30 to 40 times per month to Diamond and still build their lifestyle.

They've crossed the world, setting up their firm in 26 different nations.

Even as Crown Ambassador, Peter and Debbie remain focused and setting new goals.

Peter explains, “Only one-on-one interactions promote connection and trust.

But people must also let themselves be led and teachable.”

Business success helps their personal life as well.

The tedious jobs are done for them, thanks to their financial position.

thus, so For Peter and Debbie, independence is what brings out the best in them.

Dane and Jarrod have been encouraged by their parents' successes.

Dane practises six times a week to prepare for a career in professional soccer, and Jarrod plays both soccer and rugby league.

They've allowed them to pursue other interests that include raising money for charity, coaching young athletes, and collecting and sharing ideas in the future.

They draw on their own marriage for help with struggling couples.

Success can be due to their honesty and because they also weathered their own tumultuous relationship.

Peter and Debbie's relationship has strengthened even further.

Even their backyard mosaic depicted their beautiful love storey, “This Is No Ordinary Love”.

Over the previous 19 years, their business has aided them in bettering themselves.

They will continue to do this. Peter says, “We want to be different individuals in a year.”

We must constantly grow, change, and challenge ourselves to be the best people we can be.

When Peter and Debbie obtained Crown Ambassador Jim and Nancy Dornan dispatched US photographer Jerome Spivey to Australia.

Both Cox and Debbie Amway are examples of individuals who have had a great impact in the business world, notably in the sector of direct selling. Amway, one of the world's largest and most successful direct selling companies, was started by Cox and Debbie Amway, who are also the company's namesakes.

1924 is the year that Cox Amway entered this world in Ada, Michigan. He received his degree in chemistry from the University of Michigan, which he attended after serving in the military during World War II. When Cox first started out in the workforce, he worked as a sales representative for Nutrilite, a company that specialized in the sale of nutritional supplements. Cox first made the acquaintance of Jay Van Andel, who would go on to become his lifetime business partner, through the course of his employment with Nutrilite.

In 1959, Cox and Van Andel laid the groundwork for what would later become Amway, which at the time was known as the American Way Association. In the beginning, the company only offered one product, which was a liquid organic cleaner that went by the name L.O.C. Amway's product portfolio has grown to encompass a wider variety of health, beauty, and domestic goods as the company has progressed over the years.

Debbie Amway, whose family name is DeVos, was born in the year 1958 in the city of Grand Rapids, which is located in the state of Michigan. She came from a privileged background and attended Calvin College, where she majored in teaching after growing up in an affluent household. Following her graduation from college, Debbie first pursued a career in education before deciding to become a full-time mother. In 1980, she tied the knot with Doug DeVos, who was the son of Richard DeVos, one of the co-founders of Amway.

In the 1980s, Debbie began her career with Amway as a sales representative for the company. This was the beginning of her involvement with Amway. She rapidly became one of Amway's most successful distributors and worked her way up through the ranks. Debbie and her husband Doug became part owners of the Orlando Magic, a professional basketball team, in 1993. The Magic compete in the NBA.

Since their wedding in 1986, Cox Amway and Debbie Amway have been happily married and have raised four children together. They have given away millions of dollars to a variety of causes over the course of their careers, including philanthropic endeavors related to education and healthcare.

Cox and Debbie have been active in politics in addition to their work with the Amway company. In 1990, Cox made a bid for the office of governor of Michigan but was ultimately unsuccessful. On the other hand, Donald Trump, as president of the United States, named Debbie to the position of Secretary of Education in the United States in 2017.

Their record as businesspeople and philanthropists is a monument to the hard work, devotion, and passion to bettering the lives of others that Cox and Debbie Amway have shown throughout their lives. They have made an unmistakable impact on the corporate world, and they continue to motivate others to follow in their footsteps by leaving their own imprint.
