Don't you just despise it when you wake up and find yourself unable to fall back asleep? Particularly troubling is when whatever you were just dreaming about keeps you awake at night thinking about it and then thinking about other things that may be related to that dream.
Well, last night was one of those nights for me, or rather, early this morning was one of those mornings for me.
I had a dream that I was standing somewhere, chatting to someone, then out of nowhere, someone shot them in the back of the head. I was able to identify who it was. I was fed up with our Amway cult leader and resolved to get the hell out of there as soon as possible. That's when he started chasing after me and firing continuously. I managed to avoid him for a lengthy period of time, but he eventually came up with me and shot someone else who was close to me. When I arrive, the Amway cult leader informs me that he is shooting individuals who refuse to listen to cassettes and that he will not shoot me if I come to this spot and listen to a cassette tape. Moreover, just to make sure he knows I'm heading to the spot, he gives me this shirt with an audio recorder attached to the front. This way, he will know if I'm calling for assistance, and he can kill both of us. I recall arriving at the spot, but I don't recall listening to the recording before fleeing again and waking up in the hospital. Even in my mind, I refuse to listen to any Amway sales CDs at all! Fortunately, my Ambot did not appear in my dream, thus I am confident that he was not slain. Yes, it was a crazy dream in which the cult leader killed everybody who refused to listen to Amway cassettes. I woke up from it. The man who was chasing me didn't resemble our Platinum cult leader in the least. He resembled another prominent cult leader, Charles Manson, with the exception that his hair and beard were a lighter shade of brown.
While reading Eric Scheibeler's book Merchants of Deception, he mentioned that some Amway cult members told him they would do anything for their revered leaders. This statement resonated with me. I'd give my life for them. Kill for them if you have to. There is no hidden hint about the dangers here. He really feared for his life and the lives of his loved ones.
It's remarkable the horrific crimes that cult followers may be forced to commit that they would have never contemplated committing had they not joined the cult in the first place. I don't believe Scheibeler's upline was all that dissimilar from mine in any way.
During meetings, our Platinum cult leader would frequently tell us about the man who recruited him into the Amway organisation. I never had the opportunity to meet the gentleman. He had long since resigned from Amway. As a result of several persons upline of the Platinum quitting over a period of 10 or 15 years, the person directly above our Platinum was now known as the Emerald, as everyone else in between had left the company. Whenever the Platinum piece of shit informed us about his sponsor, he said that he had threatened him when he first signed up with the Amway organisation. The man threatened to break the man's limbs and legs if he didn't generate any money through Amway. He'd occasionally alter the storey a little, claiming that the guy's arms and legs had been severed. To be honest with you, if it were me, I wouldn't go about gloating about anything like that. After all these years, if something were to happen to that sponsor, who would be the first person to be named as a suspect? Who would be the first person to be named as a suspect?
Our Platinum claims to be a good Christian and at every Amway meeting told us that God is number one in his life. I really don't know. People's limbs are being threatened by good Christians because they are not making enough money in Amway?
It would be impossible to travel without bumping into persons who were only able to walk on their hands and knees!
It's a little like Jack the Ripper. Platinum the Ripper is a name that should be given to this individual.
I simply thought it was a little inconsiderate of the Platinum to give us this storey at all, let alone tell us when we were listening to it on a tape recorder. One of these things could come back to bother him in the future. I believe the Platinum used the tale to illustrate a point, namely that he made money in Amway because it is simple to make money in Amway, and as a result, his sponsor did not have to have a limb replacement procedure.
Do we really make any money with our Platinum product? If there's a guy out there who's had his limbs and legs amputated in the name of Amway upline devotion, I'm not sure where he is.
Amway is a firm that engages in multi-level marketing and has been the focus of debate and criticism for a considerable amount of time. Although there have been people who have had good experiences with the company, there have also been many people who have claimed having nightmares because of their participation with Amway.
The utilization of excessive levels of pressure in the sales process by Amway distributors is a common source of customer dissatisfaction. In order for distributors to qualify for commissions and bonuses, it is common practice to urge them to bring on as many individuals to their downline as they possibly can. This can result in an obsessive search for prospective employees and a concentration on making sales rather than cultivating meaningful relationships with clients and consumers.
The financial losses that many distributors have endured as a result of their involvement with Amway are another recurrent nightmare linked with the company. In order to reach sales quotas and become eligible for commissions, Amway distributors are obligated to make personal purchases of the company's items. On the other hand, the cost of many of these items is much higher compared to the cost of comparable items that can be purchased in stores. Because of this, distributors may find themselves trapped with enormous stockpiles of products that have not been sold. These inventories may be difficult to unload, which may result in severe financial losses.
Many Amway distributors have complained that, in addition to suffering financial losses, they also feel alienated from their families and communities as a result of the company's actions. This is due to the fact that the pressure to produce sales and attract new members can encourage a distributor to become overly preoccupied with Amway, to the point that it interferes with their life in other areas. Because of your persistent efforts to sell them Amway items or recruit them into the business, your friends and family members may feel irritated or upset with you.
Concerns have also been expressed regarding the cult-like attitude that may emerge within Amway at times. Distributors are urged to attend monthly meetings and events, where they are frequently exposed to propaganda about the advantages of living an Amway lifestyle and are sometimes even forced to listen to motivational speakers. This can result in a person having unquestioning faith in the firm and the people who run it, as well as an unwillingness to question the Amway business model or the strategies that are employed to market it.
Last but not least, there have been countless allegations of scammers and fraudsters preying on Amway distributors, taking use of their vulnerability and desperation to take advantage of them. Distributors who are having difficulty making sales or building their downline may be more susceptible to these frauds, which can result in additional financial losses as well as damage to the distributor's reputation.
In conclusion, there have been several accounts of individuals's worst dreams being realized as a result of their connection with Amway, despite the fact that some people have had excellent experiences with the firm. These include engaging in high-pressure sales tactics, experiencing financial losses, experiencing social isolation, developing a mentality similar to that of a cult, and being susceptible to cons and fraud. People who are thinking of joining Amway as a business partner should carefully assess the costs and benefits of doing so, and they should also be aware of the potential hazards that are associated with the endeavor.
