My decision was made to waste their time, and in the following meeting I informed them of my financial situation (some million rupees I had saved for my education in the United States, approximately $500,000), and I believe they viewed me as a loose slot machine. As a result, I became their "best" friend, spending countless hours with them having drinks, going out, and even spending a couple of nights at their house playing pool and drinking their overpriced shit XS drink (which I poured in their house plant when they are not looking, poor plant....
