Nidhi, my wife comes from a family of industrialists, whereas I come from a family in which everyone was in the service. As a matter of fact, I am the first and only businessperson in my family. I was also resolved to make our future better because I had witnessed firsthand the difficulties that families living on the edge of poverty experienced. Nidhi was well aware of the difficulties that might arise in running a traditional business, particularly in terms of financial uncertainty. In the third semester of my M.B.A. programme, I was introduced to the Amway business opportunity by chance, and even then, it was through the efforts of a complete stranger who contacted me with the idea. Instantaneously, the reasoning behind the concept became crystal plain to me, and I realised that this concept, if implemented well and with great leadership, had the potential to do wonders in our country. So I didn't waste any time and had the company up and running right away. Nidhi helped me morally and in a variety of other ways as I took an active interest in the development of this firm. Within 5 months, I earned the title of Silver, and we haven't looked back since. Before I got married on the 22nd of January 2003, I became the Founder Emerald. As soon as we got married, Nidhi became heavily involved in the family business. It was the best part of our lives since, by the time our M.B.A. results were announced, we had already established ourselves as Gold Producers. We were confronted with a number of difficulties in the beginning. In addition, no one in our family believed that success in our industry was a possibility. As a result, we received no support. However, with a clear vision and a strong commitment, we were able to simply move forward. Today, we have the ability to direct our own destinies. We have all the time in the world; we not only spend a great deal of time together, but we also spend a lot of time with our parents. We are just in our twenties and have already achieved the status of Diamonds; it feels fantastic. We owe a debt of gratitude to Amway and our upline, since without their assistance, we would not have achieved success. We would like to express our gratitude to our parents, because it is ultimately their ideals that keep us on course.
