I was born in a very small hamlet of Aligarh in a farmer’s family and therefore inherited the virtues of courage, tenacity and hard work from my parents. After completing my schooling, I travelled to Allahabad University to pursue advanced studies and became a Professor. My quest for importance prompted me write many books and gained prize and a letter of appreciation for my work. In 1989, I married Kusum who is a scholar and a Gold Medalist in English literature. Both of us share everything in life right from our happiness to our ambition for success. For us life is a choice; if you can’t select your life you are not living a true life. When Amway opportunity came our door in 1999 through one of our cousins, we could not grasp its rewards & possibilities. Rather we regarded it as a plot & were quite negative. But God had different plans for us. So we got an opportunity to attend an Amway conference which altered our attitude about Amway business altogether. Today we see Amway as an uncommon opportunity that can make ordinary lives remarkable and significant. We always wanted to live a life of choice & meaning. In Amway business we witnessed our aspirations come true. So despite time problems, we opted to create the firm half time with full enthusiasm, drive & hard work. Initially we faced many rejections. The majority of our friends and relatives concentrated on the challenges and reasons why they were unable to participate in this business, whereas we concentrated on the reasons why we should participate in this business. ‘Man becomes what he thinks about all of the time; if you concentrate on issues, you will get problems; if you concentrate on dreams, you will achieve your dreams,' as the saying goes. Amway's 50th anniversary celebration infused us with newfound vigour, enthusiasm, and excitement, and it only served to deepen our belief and trust in the company. The organisation has completed 50 years of successful operations in more than 80 countries and territories with people from diverse cultures, ethnic backgrounds, and political structures, which is a remarkable accomplishment. Amway reached these heights thanks to its motto of "Freedom, Family, Hope, and Reward for Everyone," which embodies the company's values. We are grateful to Mr. Rich DeVos and Mr. Jay Van Andel, the founders of Amway, for their efforts in improving the lives of millions of people around the world. As Diamonds in Amway India, we made the decision to carry the flag of Amway glory even further by committing to attend EDC in 2008 and taking advantage of the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to spend quality time with successful leaders of the Amway globe in Ada, Michigan, and Grand Rapids, Michigan. We are grateful to God for providing us with the strength to pursue our dreams, as well as to Amway India for their assistance. We are also grateful to our entire team for their unwavering support and unwavering faith in our ability to lead. Our parents and children were always encouraging and inspiring as we progressed through the Amway organisation. Our lives are the embodiment of unwavering faith in God, the Amway opportunity, and our own personal aspirations.
