Since Jim and Bev were originally introduced to this industry, a great deal has changed in their lives.
Jim was serving on active duty with the United States Air Force as an air traffic controller, and Bev was a full-time college student seeking a nursing degree at the time of their marriage.
The following day, while Jim was at work, a coworker invited himself and his family over to their home to discuss a "business possibility.
" Every other house on a military base was "compact," and Jim and Bev's residence was no exception.
They had a "postage stamp yard" and a yellow Honda as part of their setup. Jim, who was living from paycheck to paycheck, was seeking for a means to generate some extra revenue to supplement his salary.
Almost nine months later, their "extra" income was comparable to the amount of money Bev would have earned if she had continued her nursing career and worked until she was 65 years old.
Jim and Bev qualified as Diamond Directs after three and a half years of hard work and dedication to their own firm.
With their newfound financial security, they can pursue the kind of lifestyle and calling that most people can only dream about.
"The real joy in life is being able to do what you want to do, with whom you want to do it, whenever you want to do it," Jim Mainor says, despite the fact that the Mainors own a "S" class Mercedes, a SC-400 Lexus, a Sea Ray 390 Express Cruiser boat, a 6,200 square foot custom waterfront home, and numerous other luxuries.
The Mainors are the parents of three children. Brittany, the youngest, is the only one who is still living at home with her mother and father.
In addition, Bev points out that Brittany "travels with us, likes the friends, appreciates the lifestyle this business has offered, and enjoys being a full-time child of her parents."
"True happiness comes from discovering God's plan for your life - and pursuing it."
