S Paulraj and Sagayamary are two diamonds in the rough (Electrician & Staff Nurse,Mettupalayam, Tamil Nadu)
To begin, we want to express our gratitude to God for providing us with the Amway business opportunity. We'd also like to express our gratitude to BWW for always being there for us.
Today, we have three automobiles and our own residence. We have a comfortable living and have also taken multiple international excursions over our time together. Our company is likewise experiencing steady growth. Monikha, our adorable daughter, is a blessing in our lives. She is currently enrolled in the tenth grade and is leading a healthy and active lifestyle.
Our mission is to assist as many individuals as possible in receiving what we are currently receiving and in doing so, to benefit our society.
My occupation was that of an electrician, and my wife worked as a staff nurse. We were in a lot of debt at the time, and we were living in a rented apartment. I'm not sure what happened, but I remember. I had paid five dues in order to purchase a bicycle.
But I've always been a dedicated and true worker. I took a variety of steps to get myself out of debt. Earlier last year, I opened an energy service centre. However, due to complications in the partnership, I was compelled to close the business. After that, I opened a bakery business. I used to get up early every morning and open the business at 4 a.m., and I would stay there until 7 a.m. After giving over the cash to the cashier, I would dash to the factory at 8 a.m. to begin working. I would then return to the bakery business at 5.00 p.m. and close it at 11.30 p.m. the next day. The next morning, I was up at 4 a.m. for the same thing. This had been a part of my daily routine. Those were the worst of times. I worked very hard, but owing to intense competition, I was forced to close my business as well. Our aspirations were never jeopardised, though.
We prayed on a regular basis to God to show us a business that did not require a large initial investment but had tremendous potential. The Lord revealed this business possibility to us through a Doctor with whom Sagayamary was collaborating at the time, after six months of continuous prayer. We seized the opportunity as soon as it presented itself. It was the month of May 1998.
During the course of creating this firm, we realised and strongly began to feel that it had the potential to provide us with things that other people would not be able to enjoy if we put our efforts into it with no regard for the future.
We were sincere in our dealings with our subordinates. We were able to keep positive relationships with everyone. With the help of God, we have experienced consistent growth. Sagayamary joined me in this business full-time in the year 2000, and I joined him in the following year. The key to our success has been persistent work on our part. We encountered numerous difficulties, but we never lost sight of the goal of finding a solution.
Thank you very much, God. We have come to understand and think that the true enjoyment in life is found in discovering God's plan for our lives and putting up our best effort to achieve it.
We are now the full-time father and mother of our beautiful daughter, Monikha. This woman has an amazing lifestyle that she adores.
For the final time, we would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to Bill and Peggy Britt, as well as our mentors Dr Newball and Kanti & Lata Gala, for always being there for us.
