During my time as an independent business owner, I was frequently told that my upline sincerely desired my success. That they would always provide me with the greatest counsel available in order for me to be successful. On the surface, there appears to be no alternative conclusion, particularly for new IBOs. If more people succeed in their downlines as a result of fresh IBOs rising up, surely the diamond would be pleased with the additional evidence that the system and upline recommendations are effective. However, I am confident that this is not the case.
The point at which prospects and new IBOs may find it difficult to comprehend this train of thinking is at the end of the paragraph. The fact that many upline emeralds and diamonds may earn more money from selling premium club, standing orders, voicemails, and other activities means that they have little incentive to see that you, the downline, is successful as well. Because many "pins" make their money by providing training, the bottom line for these pins is to maintain a steady stream of consumers, regardless of whether they are repeat customers. If you can grasp this concept, you will be able to recognise that your upline mentors are more concerned with their own earnings than with your own success. When you factor in the possibility that new emeralds and diamonds will result in less tool money for upline, you'll see that the best case scenario for an upline is for you to form a group and then quit before you qualify for a share of the tools income is to form a group and then quit before you qualify for a share of the tools income.
Because of this, Amway and the Amway "systems" are criticised by a large number of people. When it came to the Amway tools, I was flat out lied to. There were probably hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of people who believed the same myths that no pforit was manufactured using tools. There are still a lot of the perpetrators out there, most of them are probably telling different versions of the lies that they told in the past. Despite the fact that Amway is not a participant in the tools system, they were aware of the plan that was taking place and sat back and watched it unfold. Even though they have attempted to rein in the tools kingpins, I believe that their efforts have been fruitless, and that the tools kingpins just dodge the rules to their benefit.
The reality is that when the Amway opportunity is joined with the tools or teaching (success) systems, the result is a practically guaranteed path to failure and financial losses for the individual and the business. The math and the real-world findings support this claim. It's entirely up to you whether or not you believe it or not.
