Wealthy Amway Uplines?

I recall the first time I saw the "plan" in person, which was during a large hotel gathering. The person who invited me warned me to arrive on time since, in business, time equals money. I followed his advice and arrived on time. As a result of the speaker arriving 20 minutes late, I was a little agitated. In any case, when the speaker appeared, he was greeted with a standing ovation. The speaker host lavished praise on the diamond speaker, claiming that the audience had been extremely fortunate since the speaker had been sought out from all over the country and that the speaker was among the top one tenth of one percent of all income earners in the United States of America (never confirmed though). It appears that this was standard procedure, and some speakers got into the specifics of how much money they had. I recall Bill Britt declaring that he was on the verge of becoming a "billionaire" during an open meeting. I was there. Of course, the audience erupted in applause, despite the fact that it wasn't even close to being accurate, AFAIK.

At important gatherings, the IBOs would form a queue to see the diamonds come at the hotel in their Mercedes, BMWs, Lexus, and other high-end automobiles, which they would then photograph. It was brought up that people had amassed enormous fortune, retired early, and made significant purchases in cash, among other things. Previously, one main occasion, now known as winter conference, was referred to as "dream nite." With the song "I want to be rich" by the group "Calloway" playing in the background, we watched films of jetskis, golf memberships, jets, automobiles, houses, and other goods being advertised.

What went unobserved by myself and, I believe, by the majority of IBOs was where the riches of the upline actually came from. After all, we saw the large Amway cheques that were presented to us. Although the tools revenue was not revealed at the time, most groups now at least discuss the possibility of earning money with tools, even if the specifics of who qualifies and how much you may earn are still a bit hazy. We know from Amway's own data that very few products are sold to persons who are not Independent Business Owners (IBOs), thus it is reasonable to assume that the "rich" upline derives the majority of their revenue from downline purchases. And because IBOs are the only ones who purchase CDs, books, KATE, functions, and other support materials, that source of income is nearly entirely derived from IBOs.

Essentially, the extravagant riches that some upline diamonds depict originates solely from the thousands of dollars in the pockets of their downline. It's no secret that selling tools generates a considerable amount of revenue. The difficulty, however, is that some uplines amass enormous fortune while the tools fail to perform for the great majority of people, no matter how much effort they put forth.

Now, I'm well aware that certain fans and apologists for the corporation and its procedures will assert that all firms generate money by exploiting their customers. However, this is not done under the guise of you purchasing and using tools that will make you wealthy or purchasing items for yourself that will make you wealthy, although this is the case. Because everyone is an independent business owner, you can't compare this to a job in the traditional sense. Furthermore, in a job, everyone gets paid, and the company's revenue is obtained from the selling of goods and services to customers. In Amway, the "sales" come mostly from the Independent Business Owners (IBOs).

In other words, when you see your upline's magnificent fortune being displayed about, you won't have to wonder where it came from. To find out everything you need to know, all you have to do is look at your rapidly diminishing bank account.
