Success Story (Historia de Exito)
In his time in the Dominican Republic, Pablo Zabala had big dreams, and within his dreams, one of which he took away from me by creating a terrible plan for me.
I tried to persuade him about one of his plans, but his desire to achieve his dream was vicious and led him on a dangerous journey (going to Puerto Rico in Yola) as a result of our precarious situations, which caused him to be deported to United States.
In 1989, Paul sold life insurance to provide support for his wife and his daughters, but it was not enough, and he was affected by the economic crisis that hit the country. He had to work hard and study his communication career at the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo, UASD, but he did not live the life he wanted because the income was insufficient, and the economy was in a state of collapse.
It was a struggle for us, who had known each other during childhood, I came from a large family of 11 brothers and sisters, my father was a peasant who lived on the little that was produced in the field, while my mother raised the children in Santo Domingo, where relatives could help them.
Pablo arose from a family made up of six brothers and sisters, his father was a peasant, but he dreamed of seeing his children go to university, finally, Pablo was achieving academic and social conquests, fulfilling his own wishes and driven by his notorious dreams, he managed to graduate as a journalist, later setting his interest in new goals with more ambitions, a bit risky, even exposing his own life.
The following is what Pablo has to say today: "There are many things that he wanted for my family, but it was difficult for me to obtain them." To pursue his dream of success, he had to leave the country, leaving, with all the pain in his dejected soul, his beautiful family and all his loved ones, whom he did not listen to in his eagerness to change his destiny and calamitous life.
We had to live in rental houses, move from neighborhood to neighborhood, but these inconveniences fueled his dreams, and he set his compass on Isla del Coqui, ending up landing on solid ground in Puerto Rico after several unsuccessful attempts to reach the top. . Once there, he began to work with a mad desire to save money that would allow him to buy a plane ticket to New York, given his abilities and personal virtues, he managed to establish his own company called Frutas Dominicanas Enterprise, C x A. which he started with A commercial fruit point of sale selling avocados, apples, and other tropical fruits, which were in great demand among Dominicans and Puerto Ricans, soon after was able to consolidate more than 7 fruit stands with the same number of workers in Rio Piedras but the joy lasts
In just seven months Pablo Zabala arrived in the Big Apple with $ 120 in his pockets. "He had no family or friends he knew who could help him, give him a hand, so he went to a hotel in Brooklyn, where he knew he would find other Hispanics, because he didn't speak English," what a tragedy. He had to sleep in an abandoned car for the next two weeks, without money to feed himself, just to get sugar water and bread, recalls Pablo, harassed by loneliness and lack of resources. economic to continue fighting for their dreams "
There was nothing stopping Pablo Zabala from achieving his long-term ambitions, and he was hired as a seamstress in the garment industry in a short time. With his community organization experience gained in the villages of Las Matas de Farfán in the southern Dominican Republic and Bahia de Manzanillo in the northern Dominican Republic, he rose to the position of leader in the country's most important trade union confederations.
His income of him nearly doubled when the International Longshore and Warehouse Union (ILGWU) hired him to organize workers in other factories. His life of him was getting better, he had substantially improved, but he needed his family of him, he wanted his wife and daughters to accompany him; at night, after work he felt empty, so he designed a new plan and said "Now my main dream is to bring Cai and my girls here, so they can live and develop in the United States," he remembers.
Pablo knew about Amway's independent distributors business in the Dominican Republic, having been involved for a short period of time, but when he moved to the United States, he looked for a sponsor to introduce him to the Amway business, and it was there that he met Mario Ciprian today, His sponsor, who started his business for the second time in 1991, built feverishly, and reached the emerald level in three years, with the goal of joining me in working together. When Jenndy was 11 and Jenniffer was 9, our daughters were brought to America and raised there until 1995. One of the most incredible dreams she has ever had
