In 2008, IBOFightback, or "Insider," aka "David Steadson," published what he deemed to be a "exposé" on Joecool on his website. This was in response to my piece in which I stated that I had received two emails, one of which was a threat. Steadson, in his typical dishonest fashion, took editorial liberties with the storey, saying that I lied about having been threatened. I was able to track down the sender of the threatening email, who turned out to be someone from Scarborough, Ontario, Canada. This individual continues to write on Joecool's site, making rude remarks and making further threats: Rogers Cable is a cable company in Canada (99.245.94.215) Scarborough, Ontario, Canada is the location of the IP address.
The following essay was written by an Amway employee in response to IBOFightback's expose on Joecool:

Our interactions in the Opportunity Zone are guided by a philosophy we refer to as "civil discourse," as those who frequent the area are aware.
'Civil conversation' means that we agree to differ, but that we do not agree to disagreeable behaviour. To put it another way, I respect your freedom to hold an opinion that differs from mine and ask that you do the same on my behalf. In a nutshell, it indicates that you are respected. Bullies are not permitted on the premises. After reading that someone who has been critical of this company has been hounded and disparaging information about him has been placed online by a cyber bully, I was a little troubled. In any place other than the Opportunity Zone, I have no authority to compel peaceful conversation; but, everyone involved in this business should carefully examine the influence that criticising others who hold opposing viewpoints has on public opinions of the Quixtar and Amway enterprises. As a company, we are committed to uplifting people rather than tearing them down. Just because someone does not support our company does not imply that they should be ridiculed for their beliefs or that incorrect information about them should be broadcast online. Several years ago, a former employer of mine used to explain that our reputation is established on everything that each of us does and says on a daily basis. "I would prefer that our reputation be established on respect for all people, regardless of their political beliefs." [Finishing the Quote]
In a recent post, IBOFightback claimed to have discovered yet another anti-Amway blogger, the author of Married To An Ambot, and published an expose on him. It appears to me that IBOFB has been cyber stalking this blogger because of the way the article is written, which is based on harassment. The amount of time spent snooping about and sneaking around must have been countless, not to mention how weird it is to have gathered all of that information. Ironically, IBOFB had been accusing Joecool of being the very same blogger, and of course, as is often the case, he was completely incorrect. In a number of respects, this piece is frightening. The lengths to which this individual goes leads me to believe that he is psychologically insane. Who in their right mind would go to such lengths and devote so much of their time to harassing someone who doesn't share his cheery outlook on Amway? He appears to be concerned with defending Amway at any costs, despite the fact that he swears he is not reimbursed in any manner for his efforts in the matter.
What are your plans for IBOFightback, IBOFightback? Are you going to cyber bully, cyberstalk, and harass everyone who doesn't agree with your views on the Amway business? When you posted a message on the Married to an Ambot blog that was taken out of context, you claimed it was a threat against you. While reading that comment, it appeared to be harmless, in contrast to your statement that you would "have our guts for garters," in reference to a threat you made to myself and another blogger known as "Rocket," which appeared to be threatening. And, really, David, you shouldn't be complaining about individuals writing anonymously in order to malign others, should you? In fact, you've done exactly that right here on Joecool's site, in an attempt to pass off defamatory comments against Joecool as your own. You just were not aware that I had placed an IP and statistics tracker, which is how I was able to trace you down. You also attempted to publish defamatory comments on this site using a tool known as "hidemyass.com," but were unsuccessful in your efforts. You know what they say about people who live in glass houses and all.
P.S. IBOFB owes Joecool $50,000 in unpaid debt. Joecool is not the same person as Steve Nakamura.

IBOFightback is a website that was developed with the intention of shedding light on what are claimed to be unethical business practices carried out by Amway and its distributors. "Joecool," a former Amway distributor, is the one who developed the website. Joecool asserts that he wasted a large amount of both money and time while working in the Amway business.
Although IBOFightback initially attracted support from other former Amway distributors who had similar negative experiences, the website has also faced criticism for its strategy and tactics due to the similarities between those experiences.
IBOFightback has been accused of cyberbullying and harassment by some Amway distributors. These distributors claim that the website and its followers engage in targeted attacks on particular distributors and their families. IBOFightback has responded to these allegations by saying that they are not interested in doing anything other than holding Amway accountable for what they consider to be unethical business practices.
However, IBOFightback has also been called out for using clickbait titles and sensationalized content in order to garner attention and stir up controversy, which has led to criticism from certain quarters. It has been suggested that the website selectively chooses bad stories to highlight while neglecting pleasant encounters in order to fit its narrative.
IBOFightback has responded to the criticism leveled against its strategy by defending it. They have stated that they are simply revealing the truth about Amway and its distributors. They argue that their purpose is to protect people from falling prey to a business strategy that they perceive to be dishonest and manipulative and that this is their primary motivation.
It is vital to approach the IBOFightback website and its content with a critical eye and to verify any claims made before accepting them as reality. This is the case regardless of one's attitude towards the IBOFightback website. Remember that the experiences of individual distributors can vary widely, and that the poor experiences of one person do not necessarily reflect the experiences of all Amway distributors. This is an important point to keep in mind since it is vital to remember that the experiences of individual distributors can vary greatly.
