What to do in Denver Colorado instead of attending Free Enterprise Days 2011

Maintaining the trend of discovering better and lower priced things to do in cities hosting Amway festivities, I've attempted to compile a list of interesting things to do in Denver, Colorado where Amway WWDB will be having Free Enterprise Days from October 21 to 23 2011. I hope you enjoy it. It appears that most of the enjoyable activities consist of travelling out of Denver and visiting the ski slopes! It appears that October is a tad early for skiing. I'll see what more I can come up with.

The Denver Zoo - Ah, yes, the obligatory zoo! Isn't it true that most of the venues where Amway holds events have a zoo? Toss a coin! Was it better to see the baboons in their natural habitat at Denver Zoo or those marching across the stage at Amway WWDB FED? In fact, the zoo is offering a free day on October 20th, the day before FED kicks off. Entrance is a fair $13 per person, or somewhat less if you are over 65 years old or younger than 12 years old. Spending less than $125 on one FED ticket, a couple could spend the day at the zoo and then go out to a really great supper may provide an excellent value. http://www.denverzoo.org/

For those interested in admiring works of art, the Denver Art Museum is the place to go. It costs the same amount of money as a trip to the zoological park. If you live in Colorado, the price is a little less expensive. Where has the coin for the toss gone missing? Which is better, a museum or a zoo? Picasso, you're out of here. Greetings, lions. http://www.denverartmuseum.org/

Wings Over The Rockies Air and Space Museum - Located in Estes Park, Colorado. I've been to a couple of aircraft museums, and this is something I'd consider doing, especially since I'm still not over the Spruce Goose being relocated from Long Beach! It's not even that it's in Colorado. I believe it ended up somewhere in Oregon. The cost of admission is $11. If you are above the age of 65 or under the age of 12, the price is slightly lower. http://www.wingsmuseum.org/

Molly Brown House Museum - If you're a fan of Titanic trivia, you'll like visiting this museum, which is located in the house where the unsinkable Molly Brown lived. The cost of admission is $8 for adults, with a little discount for children under the age of 12. The good news is that if you're in Denver for FED on Friday and Saturday, October 21 and 22, from 6pm to 9pm, the house will be holding an evening called Victorian Horrors, which you should definitely check out. Let's see what happens. We have the option to choose. Attending to an evening of Amway horrors for $125 or going to an evening of Victorian horrors for $15 are two very different experiences. I already know which one I'm going to choose! http://www.mollybrown.org/

Elitch Gardens - The theme park's Fright Fest takes place during the month of October. If you're over 4 feet tall, tickets will cost you $42.99. Prices are lower if you are shorter or over the age of 62. Although a little expensive, it is still less expensive than attending Free Enterprise Days. As a result, you have a choice. At an amusement park, or while listening to the Amway Diamonds, have a scare fest! http://elitchgardens.com/frightfestdenver

Are you looking to go shopping? The 16th Street Mall in Denver is a much more pleasant location to spend the day than being confined to an auditorium listening to a group of ageing Diamonds who use Amway gatherings to supplement their real-world income. Free shuttle buses and free Wi-Fi are available anywhere along the pedestrian mall's length. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/16th Street Mall
