Why Get Involved in Amway More Than Once?

How did Ambot become connected with such a shady organisation as Amway is a subject I've pondered on numerous occasions.

The next concern I have is how did Ambot become affiliated with such a shady organisation as Amway on two separate occasions?

Ambot isn't the only one who feels this way. There are stories on the Internet of former IBOs who tried Amway numerous times before giving up on it. I'm not sure who has the world record for the number of times someone has attempted to leave Amway and failed. The term "retread" was used during round 2 of WWDB Amway hell to describe someone who had made several attempts to become an Amway IBO. Simple Amway jargon comparing IBO's in round 2 or 3 or 4 or 5 to automobile tyres that have had some treatment done to the rubber of their tyres. According to Wikipedia, certain tyres can be retreaded up to ten times. What about Independent Business Owners (IBOs)? Is it possible that there are some people out there who are stupid enough to sign up and then quit Amway ten times? I despise the idea that such a possibility exists, yet it wouldn't surprise me in the least. That would be the person with the scarlet G painted on their forehead - someone who is easily duped.

For my part, I believe it is quite likely that an IBO is recruited based on the hoopla and then accomplishes absolutely nothing after paying the Amway membership fee. After a year or two, he is approached by another Amway Independent Business Owner (IBO), who gets him all giddy with excitement about the imagined business opportunity. He purchases another Amway membership and does nothing. It's possible that this will happen again and again. It's a possibility.

My question is whether Independent Business Owners (IBOs) believe that if they stick it out in Amway for two to five years, buying Amway products and buying Amway tools and attending functions, their reward will be money flowing in from Amway for the rest of their lives, even if they have neither customers nor a downline. We heard from our Platinum at the board of directors' meetings that simply by attending, we had won the competition. Are you getting the idea that you don't need to do anything else but show up and have your attendance recorded? In exchange, IBOs live in the belief that Amway rewards all victors who show up with a large sum of money that will continue to accrue in perpetuity.

The first time Ambot gained entry was most likely due to two factors. Although the son of the Platinums was the one who signed us up, Ambot was a business colleague who believed the Amway business opportunity seemed fantastic. Perhaps he should have asked himself why the son wasn't an IBO if it was such a good prospect. Find 6 people who can find 6 people who can find 6 people and so on and so on. I informed him that while the statistics looked nice on paper, the reality of pulling it off was quite different. Were we able to identify 6 people who would buy $300 worth of Amway products on a consistent basis each month, and would they be able to find 6 others in turn, and so on? No, I didn't believe that. Ambot were swept up in the excitement and publicity surrounding the event. He attended Family Reunion, where he was energised and driven, as well as all the usual nonsense that comes with such an event. I went along with him to Free Enterprise Days, and I wasn't impressed with what I saw. All of the Diamonds who paraded onto the stage had a storey that was essentially the same. They'd been doing low wage jobs until a great buddy showed them the plan. Amway saved their life, and now they're rolling in cash. They were some of the biggest bullshitters around, and the most of them had awful voices on top of that. They were also quite boring.

After a few months, Ambot came to the conclusion that this Amway business offer was a complete scam. We were spending money rather than earning money, and no one we knew was interested in purchasing pricey Amway products, and we were unable to persuade anyone to attend meetings or join Amway.

That's all there is to it. We suffered a financial setback. It was a bad experience. Continue on with your life.

Which is exactly what we did for several years.

For those of you who have been reading my blog, you are aware that I have written about the second time we were in Amway and WWDB, as well as the asses in our upline. I'll make an effort not to bring up the fact that our sponsor is someone I've loathed for many years again. My understanding is that he believed that sponsoring us in Amway would improve my impression of him, despite the fact that I had no interest in becoming engaged in the Amway scam again.

So allow me to pause for a moment and say fuck you to that conceited jerk!

Ambot is introduced to the pretentious pile of shit Platinum by Captain Fuck Up, who sneaks around behind my back. A person with a lot of charisma. Personality that stands out. A good listener and communicator. Cult leader with exceptional ability. He persuades Ambot that his current group is far superior to the previous group he was in. It was World Wide Dream Builders the last time I checked, and aren't you also a member of WWDB? In addition, he promises improved leadership and mentorship, which were absent in Ambot's previous situation. He is a really good liar who is highly convincing. Scary. Frightening. if Hitler, Charles Manson, and the Reverend Jim Jones could all be condensed into a single individual, he would be the bucket of excrement. His cult followers regard him as someone who should be revered and feared at the same time. Terrifying!

Ambot, on the other hand, is fond of the sack of excrement. He wants to make a good impression on him. He would like to spend more time with him. In order to do so, he must join Amway and spend a lot of money on the fraud since this sack of shit will not be friends with anyone who does not contribute to his fund-raising endeavours. I attempted to persuade Ambot that nothing had changed at Amway, including the company's business strategy. Every month, we were still required to purchase a large number of Amway goods. They were still way too expensive. Although the products were reasonably priced, they were not as good as name brand or generic brands that we could purchase at Walmart for a much lower price. We still had to find 6 people who had to find 6 people who had to find 6 people who had to find 6 people to find 6 people to find 6 people, and so on and so on....

We haven't seen a significant shift in our friend network during the past ten years. So, who exactly is Ambot going to prospect in order to become an IBO, you might wonder. It's the same group of people. They have not changed their minds. Who is it that he is going to go after in order to get shoddy, overpriced Amway products? It's the same group of people. They have not changed their minds.

Nothing has changed this time around, with the exception of the lies told by our upline.

I believe some people sign up for Amway and then resign (and continue to quit) because they meet various people who are very liked and tell them that things have changed in Amway since the last time the IBO was there (and continue to lie about how things have changed). They exaggerate the ways in which their LOS group is superior to the last one they were in, citing better training, better leadership, better counselling, better mentorship, better individuals, and so on, among other things. They extend friendship to you. They make lofty promises like "we'll give you the moon." They assure you that your dreams will become a reality. These skilled liars will go to any length to persuade anyone to become an Amway distributorship member. Ex-Amway Independent Business Owners (IBOs) formerly felt that Amway would provide them with a road to financial independence. The better the upline is at lying, the easier it will be to select the ex-IBO for round 2. Round three, round four, and so on.

Multiple involvements in a business opportunity such as Amway or any other multi-level marketing (MLM) organization may be a choice that some people make based on a variety of considerations. These considerations may include the desire to earn additional income. MLMs, such as Amway, provide individuals with access to a one-of-a-kind business model that enables them to generate money through direct sales and the development of a network of distributors working under their organization. Although the decision to participate in Amway or any other multi-level marketing company several times is a personal one that might differ from person to person, there are several reasons why individuals may choose to get involved again, including the following:

The initial involvement with Amway may have been a learning phase for individuals, during which they received knowledge about the business model, products, and the industry as a whole. This phase paved the way for future growth and expansion. By getting active once more, they can try to put the lessons they've learned and the techniques they've implemented for improved growth and expansion into practice. It's possible that they discovered new, untapped markets, enhanced their sales techniques, or built a stronger network of potential consumers and distributors. Participation on a continuing basis might offer participants the chance to learn from their prior experiences and take their company to new heights.

Enhanced Support and Education Multi-level marketing businesses like Amway typically offer their distributors ongoing support and education opportunities. Individuals that participate on many occasions are eligible to get benefits such as improved support systems, updated training materials, and expanded mentoring programs. They can discover that the corporation has made available to them newly developed resources, tools, or technology that can assist them in achieving success in their business. Taking advantage of these better assistance and training opportunities might provide an opportunity for greater success as well as a clean slate from which to begin again.

Enhanced Product Portfolio: Multi-level marketing (MLM) firms like Amway, in general, provide customers with access to a diverse selection of items, which may develop and grow over time. If you rejoin the company, you can be given access to a product selection that is larger and more varied than before. Individuals may be able to cater to a bigger consumer base, target new markets, and tap into developing trends if they reintroduce themselves to the revised product line and become familiar with its new features. They might discover that the enlarged product offers correspond better with both their individual interests and the preferences of their customers, which would make it an appealing proposition for them to participate once more.

Changing Priorities and Goals in Business Priorities and goals of individuals might shift over the course of time. What may have been their primary motive when they first became involved with Amway may have changed or developed after then. Their decision to return to the company may be a reflection of their updated business goals, which may include obtaining a better level of financial success, achieving a leadership position, or finding possibilities for personal and professional development. Individuals are able to realign their goals with their present circumstances and pursue their new goals while still operating within the confines of the MLM framework if they reengage with the industry.

A More Powerful Personal Network Creating a network of distributors is one of the most important aspects of multi-level marketing (MLM) business models. persons who have been involved in Amway for an extended period of time may have created a more robust personal network comprised of persons with similar interests who are also interested in the business. These relationships have the potential to provide support, mentorship, opportunities for collaboration, and the chance to further grow their network. It's possible that they wanted to get back in touch with their existing network, make the most of their combined efforts, and collaborate with others to achieve mutual success when they decided to rejoin the company.

Financial Aspects Multi-level marketing (MLM) presents the opportunity to make an income based not only on one's own direct sales but also on the sales that are generated by one's network of distributors. It is possible that individuals who have previously been involved with Amway and had financial success or witnessed promising outcomes during their original involvement are financially motivated to rejoin the company. They can have the misconception that redoubling their efforts will result in even more lucrative outcomes. In addition, people might have experienced shifts in their financial condition or come upon new prospects for investing, both of which make it enticing for them to reinvest in the Amway business.

It is crucial to note that multi-level marketing (MLM) companies have been the target of skepticism and controversy, despite the fact that some people may choose to participate in Amway more than once. Before making any decision, it is critical for individuals to perform extensive study and gain a comprehensive understanding of the business strategy, the track record of the organization, and the potential hazards involved. To be successful in a multi-level marketing (MLM) business, you need to be dedicated, willing to put in a lot of work, and grasp the fundamentals of sales and marketing. People need to take a good, hard look at their reasons for wanting to rejoin Amway, as well as their goals and expectations for the business, before deciding whether or not it will help them achieve their personal and professional goals.
