Diamonds and various groups typically hold their spring conferences, also known as spring leadership conferences, around this time of year. It is rumoured to be the location where new platinums speak and share their experiences of being struggling IBOs who did whatever it took to succeed. For newer or up-and-coming IBOs, I suppose this is a ray of hope. I suppose you could say that these stories are both relatable and inspiring at the same time.
There are still hordes of down lines who are operating at a loss, despite the limited success of these new "leaders." This is something that goes unnoticed. When I was an IBO, my sponsor spoke at one of these conferences, and it was both inspiring and motivating because it was someone I knew personally who was on the stage, and it also felt like if he could do it, why couldn't I?
Despite the fact that I was well on my way to achieving platinum status at the time, I began to suspect that the tools and functions were a scam. Looking back, the tools appear to have been a massive con. It is, in my opinion, the reason why diamonds place a high priority on tools and functions. This is one of the reasons why diamonds advise never giving up. Due to the fact that if you leave, they will lose a valuable customer in their tools and functions business.
This is also the reason why you should never miss a meeting or event at work. If you fail to show up for a meeting or function, the diamond will receive less money. It may be difficult for new IBOs and prospects to comprehend, but the primary purpose of tools and functions is to supplement the income generated by diamonds, because Amway may not be as generous as they lead you to believe in terms of compensation. Due to the high cost of the products and the difficulty of selling them, there is a high attrition rate. As a result, diamonds are required to sell tools and functions. Do you still not believe me? Make the calculations and follow the money.
