Super Bowl 55 will take place on Sunday. The Kansas City Chiefs will take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday. It is expected that one of these teams will be crowned the NFL champions after tomorrow's game. Because of Covid 19, there will be a limited number of fans in attendance. However, I am confident that television commercials will continue to cost millions of dollars for a 15- or 30-second spot. And this is due to the fact that the game is being watched by literally hundreds of millions of viewers. Commercials are also entertaining to me, so I watch them.
However, it is extremely expensive to reach such a large number of people, but the advertising reach is enormous. Amway Independent Business Owners (IBOs) recruit from person to person, one at a time. While person to person marketing can be effective, it does not have the same reach as a television commercial does. According to rumours, Amway pays their independent business owners (IBOs) more because they have limited advertising. However, despite the fact that the vast majority of IBOs who participate in tools and functions do so at a net loss, this is not the case.
Whatever your upline might tell you, Amway is not the most efficient means of delivering goods to consumers on the market. I believe Amazon has made this very clear in their terms and conditions. Who wants to pay top dollar for household products when you can get them for pennies on the dollar at Walmart or for less money than Amway by purchasing them from WalMart.com or Amazon.com?
Amway's revenues for 2020 should be released in the near future. In light of Covid's success, I'm curious as to whether the company's fortunes have improved or declined. You'd think that, in light of the restrictions on social activities, the ability to move products online would result in a flurry of activity. However, an honest question would be whether Amway sales are based more on continuous recruiting than on actual sales in general.
I'm curious to see how independent business owners (IBOs) are faring without the ability to freely recruit downline. I'm starting to have my doubts.
