Avoid Using The Name "Amway"?

I find it amusing that people still prefer to use the Amway name in their recruiting efforts to this day, and I think it's a good thing. It is my opinion that this strategy is one of the primary reasons why Amway has such a negative reputation in North America. When I was recruited, I was also deceived and lied to. I was asked to a "beer bust," only to discover that it was actually an Amway meeting. I was disappointed. I got home that night and thought to myself, "WTF was that?" They deceive us and then want us to become partners in their enterprise. And I believe that this practise has continued to this day. The opportunity they are proposing may be disguised under a different name such as "Liberty Marketing" or "Worldwide Group" to avoid detection. My question is, why is this so?

Over the years, independent business owners (IBOs) have tried a variety of strategies to conceal the Amway offer. The company has previously been involved in network marketing, e-commerce, and an online shopping mall, and it has even changed the name of Amway in North America to "Quixtar." Unfortunately, the name change to Quixtar did not have the desired effect, most likely because the same strategies were utilised to attract new IBOs into Quixtar. Amway eventually reverted to the original name of Amway. I believe that Amway's poor reputation in North America is one of the reasons that the company has experienced the most growth in recent years in countries where people either do not recognise the Amway name or, more likely, because there haven't been enough former Amway/AMO victims to tarnish the company's reputation in other countries. As markets mature and more individuals become aware of Amway, we can see what is now taking place. A drop from 11.8 billion in 2013 to 8.8 billion (global) in 2016 is a significant drop in Amway revenues. That is a significant deterioration!

In other words, independent company owners, how can you expect someone to trust you and do business with you if you are deceptive or flat out lie about the Amway opportunity? Are you embarrassed by your company's name, Amway? It is impossible to display any intentions, let alone sponsor somebody into the business if you are embarrassed or afraid to drop the "A bomb" on them. When I was younger, my former sponsor used to tell our group that the most difficult obstacle to overcome is the term Amway. However, to be fair, Amway the corporation is not to blame for the company's poor reputation. Although it is the immoral and unethical behaviour of IBOs that has contributed to Amway's tarnished reputation, the fact that the Amway police have not been cracking down and taking visible action against the offenders indicates that Amway is also responsible to some extent of the problem.

People who come out and talk about Amway, on the other hand, are unlikely to get any good outcomes because of the company's previous reputation. In this case, both IBOs and prospects are almost certain to lose. As a result, I believe that forming and maintaining a group is practically hard, especially if your goal is to obtain diamond status. It appears that more diamonds have departed Amway in recent years than there have been new diamonds added to the company's inventory. I assume this is accurate for WWDB, which was my former LOS. So, Independent Business Owners, are you embarrassed by Amway? If this is the case, why are there still so many IBOs who use deception and trickery to acquire new customers?

What are you embarrassed about if you don't use the Amway brand name?
