If Amway Products Are "Good", Why Don't Former IBOS Buy Them?

My impression is that the overall performance of Amway is deteriorating. Amway's revenue peaked at $11.8 billion in 2013 and has steadily declined since then, reaching $8.6 billion in 2017. Over the course of five years, this represents a decline of almost 25%. This is something that Amway Independent Business Owners (IBOs) used to be proud of, but with the slowdown in global expansion, we are seeing sales decline substantially. It appears to me that Amway's products and reputation have reached saturation in the market, and the significant decreases in share price support this conclusion.

Many Independent Business Owners (IBOs) and Amway apologists assert that Amway products are simply the "best." Some even go so far as to say that Amway items are superior to those sold by large box retailers. According to several neutral reviews (including consumer reports) of Amway items in comparison to name brand products in the past, many of the Amway goods were scored as ordinary, while some were rated as highly expensive and others were regarded as satisfactory. To be sure, quality can only be determined by the individual, and it appears that whether or not one is an IBO is a determining factor in that quality.

This is, of course, the most important question. If Amway products are so fantastic, why do former Independent Business Owners (IBOs) rarely continue to purchase them? I'm referring to the fact that Amway sales would continue to grow gradually year after year if former IBOs continued to purchase items. And here's another point of view on the whole thing. While it is possible that some former IBOs continue to purchase Amway products, I would wager that they do not purchase 100 PV or more per month as they did when they were active IBOs. In order to control or create an artificial demand for Amway items among the active IBOs, it appears that uplines are capable of doing so. This is a source of disagreement between Amway defenders and Amway detractors since an artificial demand adheres to the letter of the law on legality questions.

There are tens of millions of ex-IBOs in the world. In the United States, there are probably less than 200 certified diamonds. I believe there are more lottery winners than there are diamonds that qualify for certification. What is the reason, then, why Amway sales aren't continually increasing despite the fact that there are tens of millions of former IBOs and hundreds of thousands of current IBOs? I believe this is due to the fact that Amway Independent Business Owners (IBOs) are the primary customers of Amway products, whereas previous IBOs are not. Due to the ease with which knowledge can be found on the internet, prospects who are approached can easily Google Joecool's blog or other information-rich websites to make an informed decision. I believe it is part of the reason for the decline in sales, as recruitment and sponsorship of new IBOs has slowed.

So, if Amway products are of such high quality, why don't the vast majority of former IBOs continue to use them?

Over the course of its more than 60 years in business, Amway has become a household name as a successful multi-level marketing (MLM) organization. Supplements for health and wellbeing, skin care products, and goods for cleaning the house are just some of the products that this company manufactures and sells. Individuals have the opportunity to become Independent Business Owners (IBOs) through Amway's MLM framework, which enables them to earn money through the sale of products and the recruitment of others to join the business.

Critics of Amway and former Independent Business Owners (IBOs) frequently ask the same issue, which is as follows: if Amway's products are "good," then why don't former IBOs continue to purchase them once they leave the business?

To begin, it is essential to have a clear understanding that just because a someone decides to stop being an Independent Business Owner for Amway does not automatically imply that they have unfavorable views regarding the company's products. It's possible that some people will simply come to the conclusion that the business opportunity is not a suitable fit for them, or perhaps they will decide that they would rather pursue an other professional route.

Having said that, there are a number of factors to consider when determining whether or not a former Independent Business Owner will continue to purchase Amway products after leaving the company. One of the reasons could be because the products are priced higher than comparable things that can be purchased from retail locations. IBOs are given the opportunity to save money by purchasing products directly from Amway; but, after they leave the company, they are no longer eligible to take advantage of these savings opportunities.

One such explanation could be that former Independent Business Owners (IBOs) eventually become disillusioned or exhausted with the Amway business model. Because of the constant pressure to sell things and recruit new members, it can be tiresome for certain individuals, and as a result, they may desire to separate themselves completely from the firm.

It is also important to note that the Amway business strategy is strongly reliant on personal relationships and social networks. This is something that should not be overlooked. If they no longer have those social links to the company, former Independent Business Owners (IBOs) of Amway may find it awkward to continue buying the company's products.

In addition, some former Independent Business Owners may have left the company due to dissatisfaction with its business methods or ethics. Over the course of its history, Amway has been subjected to a myriad of legal challenges and disputes, including allegations that the company engages in pyramid scheme operations and engages in misleading marketing. Because of these factors, it's possible that some ex-IBOs will decide not to support the company.

In the end, the choice of whether or not to purchase products from Amway is a deeply personal one. Some formerly active Independent Business Owners (IBOs) might keep buying products and showing their support for the firm, while others might decide to cut all ties with the company altogether. Before getting involved in any multi-level marketing business, it is essential for individuals to do their research, think carefully about the pros and cons, and make well-informed judgments.
