Why Amway Isn't Sustainable?

One thing that has become abundantly evident to me as a result of my extensive research and blogging on the subject of Amway and Amway Motivational Organizations (AMOs) is that the vast majority of Amway enterprises are not viable. It is for this reason that I believe there is such a high dropout rate and why so many individuals have formed a negative image about Amway. Now, the success of a real firm is dependent on the income generated by consumers. A business's consumers purchase goods and services from it, and if they enjoy it and/or find value in the goods and services, they become repeat customers, and sales are made for as long as there is value in the goods and services.

The goods and services provided by Amway appear to have a "perceived" worth in the eyes of the customer. Amway items are regarded to be valuable by many groups (such as BWW or WWDB) because they will result in untold wealth and the potential of early retirement if purchased and used appropriately. Unfortunately for the majority of IBOs, the reality sets in, and the IBOs eventually quit, and more often than not, things that were formerly inexpensive and of high value to IBOs become prohibitively expensive and meaningless to non-IBOs. Even with the high attrition rate, if former IBOs had continued to purchase Amway products, the company would have experienced tremendous growth. It appears that the hopes and aspirations of a new Amway Independent Business Owner are strongly tied to their commitment to Amway products and services.

But why aren't the majority of Amway firms financially viable? Isn't it straightforward? Do your 100 PV and encourage others to do so as well? This, in my opinion, is what has done so much damage to Amway's reputation. In the past, far too many independent business owners (IBOs) have done all kinds of strange, and in some cases deceptive or unethical, things in an attempt to recruit other IBOs to their network. What is most likely mentioned, but not in a meaningful way, is the absolute necessity for IBOs to acquire clients in large numbers, and quickly. Even organisations that may teach some IBOs the importance of acquiring consumers do not recommend that IBOs concentrate their efforts primarily on acquiring clients. Many/the majority of independent business owners (IBOs) are still advised to sponsor downline. Due to a scarcity of customers, the diamond riches displayed on stage at gatherings is mostly derived from Independent Business Owner (IBO) sales of Amway items and business support materials (standing order, voicemail and functions)

However, you might be wondering why a diamond looks to be so successful. It's because a diamond firm has a large number of clients. All downline members who purchase voicemail, standing orders, books, and functions are considered to be clients of the diamond company. They are all regular customers who return time and time again. On the suggestion of the diamond or a higher ranking, a diamond or higher may have hundreds, even thousands, of downline members who purchase support items. That is why, in many circumstances, a diamond will appear to be successful because they have customers or potential consumers in every level of their organisation. However, because of the seeming illusion of a diamond lifestyle, even a diamond income may not be sufficient to support the "diamond lifestyle." It indicates that the slowdown in growth in North America has had an impact on the production of north American diamonds (bankruptcy, foreclosures, etc).

When it's possible that a diamond will not have enough clients to support their business and lifestyle, what hope do you have if you have little or no downline, and minimal sales to people who are not IBOs? I'm going to guess that if you're reading this, you already know what the solution is.
