Ambushed by an Ambot!

To ensure that none of my readers missed it, I'd like to share a comment that was posted on my post about purchasing tickets for the Puryear Family Reunion.

It just goes to prove that nothing ever changes in the Amway organisation. There are still the same sales pitches being made today that were being made five years ago, ten years ago, and perhaps from the beginning of time with the Amway pyramid scam.

I divided his/her comment into smaller paragraphs to make it easier to read, and I highlighted my own comments in red to draw attention to them!

Having been ambushed on one of our early morning jogs, I decided to accompany my friend (IBO) to one of his appointments.

Ambushed? Check. Ambot's sneaky ass strategy is genius.

He was rambling on and on about this year's family reunion, which is taking place in July this year. Whatever it is, it appears to be a "must attend" function or conference (or something similar...). WHATEVER).

Is there a family reunion planned for July? Yes, this is a WWDB Amway function. Another indoctrination convention that everyone should go to. Isn't that the case for everyone? Yawn. Ambot is attempting to generate some excitement so that he can be one of the very few IBOs who really brings a guest, so making him appear all important and powerful to the upline that he worships.

For openers, let me state unequivocally that in my forty years on this earth, I have never witnessed such mediocrity!

Mediocrity? One of the most complimentary things I've ever heard about Amway came from this person.

He urged that I borrow and listen to a couple of CDs from a so-called "money expert" whom he claims to personally know. I don't really enjoy listening to anything that isn't accompanied by some sort of musical accompaniment... in addition to making perfect sense to my current state of mind.

Those CDs are complete and utter shite! It's especially noticeable when they're turned up to the maximum volume. It sounds like we're out in the middle of nowhere under a big tent, listening to a preacher yell a sermon at us.

Anyway, returning to the meeting on Friday night, we arrive and, of course, the facility is locked down! Due to a lack of additional seating, one of the best-dressed gentlemen in the rear of the room requests that my friend's "sponsored" relinquish his seat so that I may have a chance to appreciate the speaker's slander.

It appears that someone on the chair committee made a mistake!

It felt more like a rebirth of sorts than anything remotely like a business meeting to me during this "meeting." Despite the fact that there was no religion involved, the proceedings were conducted in a manner that was reminiscent of religious dogma.

I assume they held off on discussing religion since they were joined at this Amway meeting by an outsider, which was unusual for them. Amway meetings are typically loaded with religious references, as is the case with every cult's meetings.

One of the attendees (who appeared to be a bit prospected) and his wife were being badgered by a group of IBOs to attend that July convention –thing, in a matter of seconds the rest of the group joined in, and the guy who urged my friend's sponsor to give up his seat to me walked right in front of them to make certain they would attend (he kept insisting they attend in a very weird manner).

Can you imagine a group of Amway ambots forming and badgering someone? Please tell me this isn't true! Not only are those cretins skilled at group love bombing, but they also band together to dish out abuse whenever it is needed.

He and a few others (who appeared to be the gems in the bunch) appeared to be incredibly secure in their own skin! After a brief battle with that pair, he made his way over to me and inquired about my place of employment (I lead Pioneer-A medical equipment distribution centre for medical schools). He appeared to be intrigued by my personal objectives, and I was able to confess that I will be attending medical school this autumn as a result.

FORM is a tactic that has been utilised by Amway salespeople for years to learn more about their victims and put them at ease before launching a successful attack on them.

F stands for "Family."

Occupation is represented by the letter O.

R - Recreational activities

M - Money is an abbreviation for money.

Before leaving, he urged that I attend this "event," stating that "I might learn something." He also mentioned that my friend's sponsor was someone who was "on the rise," and that I should consider meeting up with the sponsor and him for coffee at some point. I politely declined, explaining that I was only doing this as a favour for a buddy who seemed to be obsessed with this "business." Upon hearing my reply, he got uncomfortable and, with a smile, corrected me, stating that “this is not a company...it is a global opportunity for independent business entrepreneurs with BIG ambitions who are not afraid to get their hands dirty.” I returned the smile and nodded "most-definitely," thinking to myself how sad it all was!

Everyone at Amway is ALWAYS on the move, "going places." Most of the time, it's straight to the poorhouse and divorce court! When confronted with the truth, ambots always seem to get a little queasy. You can guarantee your companion was reprimanded for being "negative" later on in the game. Your "hands are dirty" in Amway because you're generating dirty money by scamming unsuspecting victims in this pyramid system, which is why you're doing it.

Anyway, it was a bit after 11 p.m....

When I told my friend that I was leaving, he inquired as to my thoughts on the people and testimonials, to which I replied that they were satisfactory. He inquired about my availability for a coffee date over the weekend, and I politely declined, explaining that I am not the type of person who goes door to door selling deodorant and soap to strangers. I'm not sure why he didn't take offence to this, but I'm sure he'd love to have retaliated immediately; instead, he asked for my mobile phone number and/or email address, which I provided him in case I wanted to make a joke about it later. He maintained, though, that we really MUST talk and that they could use someone like me in their endeavour (I'd rather drown myself than go through another one of these pitches).

Yes, ambots always want to go for a cup of coffee, and they'll bring their sack of shit Platinum with them in order to finalise the transaction and sign up the victim as an independent business owner.

And......better It's to be dead than to be an ambot!

As for Amway Scamway and its scammer army of Ambots, let us just send another big old FUCK YOU out to them from marriedtoanambot.
