Quixtar is the new name for Amway, which was previously known as Amway. No idea when, but I'll say it'll be around the year 2000, give or take a couple years. I know that when we went through Amway hell for the first time in 2000, the name was Quixtar, but I'm not sure when the name was changed because it was already in effect at the time.
There were a couple of tales floating around about why the name was changed to Quixtar. One of the myths was that the offspring of the Amway owners were taking over and that by changing the name of the firm and forming a new one, they would be able to avoid or reduce their inheritance taxes. In regards to the bit about getting out of paying taxes, I'm not sure if that is correct. I'm at a loss for words. This is what we were informed by our superiors.
The alternative argument, and the more plausible one, is that the name change was made in order to distance Amway from its negative reputation. It would take some time for people to realise that the new name Quixtar had something to do with Amway because of the way it was chosen. A fresh name and a new image are being used to rebrand oneself. Perhaps it would have succeeded if the greedy bastards had priced their products to be competitive with other things on the market and if they had eliminated the troublemakers and the tool fraud before launching their scheme. However, this is not the case. This is not a choice when you are motivated by greed.
Ambot became involved once more at the time that the company's name was changed back to Amway. This is the second time in as many years that Amway has gone under the brand name Quixtar.
It doesn't appear to be deterring people from looking for Quixtar, despite the fact that the name was changed a few years ago.
So you're aware of what this signifies! Keywords! I'm still receiving searches for Quixtar function 2012 and Quixtar Spring Leadership, as well as searches for Quickstar written differently. Just in case I spelled it incorrectly the first time, I'll try again. Quikstar. Quiktar. Quickstar. Quick Star is the name of the game. It is the Quix Star that you are looking for. I'm curious how many different ways that term may be spelled.
You can call it whatever you like. Amway. Alticor. Quixtar. World Wide Web Database (WWDB) The World Wide Dream Builder is in operation. Everything points to one conclusion: SCAMWAY!!!
It's a pyramid scheme. Cult. Brainwashing. Liars.
You should put your Quixtar somewhere where the sun doesn't shine!
