Amway Works If You Work It?

If you put in the effort, the Amway business will succeed! The majority of Amway supporters will agree with this statement. I do not think this to be true, and I will explain why in further detail later in this piece. Many IBOs who claim that their business is successful are typically inexperienced and unable to provide any evidence that their firm is successful, other than a photocopied check from an upline diamond or something similar. To far, no Amway IBO who has posted on this blog has shown proof that Amway is effective. Furthermore, there is little proof that hard labour leads to success in the Amway business.

It is important to note that certain people may be able to make large money with Amway, but the most majority of those individuals are usually tenured diamonds who are considered to be practically members of an exclusive club. According to what I've heard, even new diamonds in the United States have a limited shelf life in other nations, therefore even these fresh diamonds may have had a long shelf life in other countries. It appears that Amway is not expanding significantly in the United States and Canada. In addition, because Amway does not reveal data that are independent from those for Amway North America and the rest of their international operations, the information available is restricted.

Okay, so Amway supporters believe that the business is successful if you put in the effort. In its most basic form, business is the act of making a profit by selling a product or service. Despite this, many IBOs spend a significant amount of their time on other activities, as recommended by their upline "mentors," who sell them training materials that consume a significant amount of their valuable time. Listening to audios/cds, attending functions, reading books, and participating in other training activities not only costs the IBO money, but it also consumes valuable time that could be spent on income-producing activities. Reading books or attending seminars will not increase your sales. Even though inviting individuals to see "the plan" may be a good approach to build volume, given Amway's reputation, this is a hit-and-miss (most of the time) activity.

Many Independent Business Owners (IBOs) spend practically all of their time on these activities (the labour), when they would be better served by forgoing the training and concentrating on selling Amway products and services instead. Even that comes with a disadvantage in that acquiring Amway products as a whole is significantly more expensive than getting similar or the same products from a large store such as Costco or WalMart. It is for this reason that the vast majority of IBOs eventually become disheartened and give up far before the touted 2-5 year plan.

When you mention the name "Amway," few people will even bother to look at the plan, and those who are open-minded and motivated to register will find themselves saddled with a difficult-to-sell opportunity, as well as high-priced common commodities such as soap, vitamins, and energy drinks, among other things. Even for the majority of individuals who really work in the business, it is very obvious that the enterprise does not function well. There are simply too many flaws with the business that prevent people who are daring enough to attempt it from succeeding. Even the most ardent supporters of Amway appear to be unable to show even a sliver of evidence that they have made a profit from this opportunity.
