Many prospects and even IBOS are uninformed of the fact that an Amway pin achievement is a lifetime achievement, which they should be. To put it another way, if you qualified for the diamond level for 6 months in 1968, you would still be considered a diamond today, albeit you would not be eligible for diamond bonuses and benefits like free holidays unless you are currently qualified.

Remember, I'm still a 4000 PV pin, and no one in Amway would give me credibility, so why should diamonds be given credibility and your money in exchange for their business advice?
Amway only recognises new diamonds and does not reveal the names of those who have already been qualified. Diamond Club existed in Hawaii a few years ago, on the island of Maui. I looked around to check how many gems were present. There were 160 people in attendance, including spouses and children. As a result, the number of diamonds in attendance was limited to around 160. Sure, some people were unable to attend, but how many people in a financially comfortable position with a flexible schedule would turn down a free trip to Hawaii? Perhaps, but diamonds, at least in Amway, are in short supply these days.
